Is there a person your character would turn to for backup in a fight?

Oh that would 100% be his tanky-tank-tank husband. Azure. In fact they’re frequently sent on jobs and missions together.

I guess golden eyes are a weakness of his.

Hm… I’d remind him that he’s married if it weren’t a crush that won’t go far. And even if that weren’t the case Azure green lit his romantic whims ages ago.

15. What was comforting to your OC as a child? Do they still find comfort in that now?

Flower took great comfort in spending time with his plants. He very much still finds comfort in them now.

Yuki found comfort in carving small stone figures from rocks she gathered from teh caves near her tribe on the steppe (her father is xaela and mother raen). She very VERY much doesn't find it comforting anymore. Not since she was petrified and then erroneously sold as a lawn ornament.

For Flower!! 14. Who was your OC's first love? How do they remember that person now?

Oh geez. I haven't even named his first love but it was a boy he dated when they were both mid-teens.

At the time Flower was going by the name Orchid and leaning heavily towards thinking he might be a man instead of genderfluid. The boy -I'll throw him a name now- Eslant somehow had convinced himself that Flower was secretly a girl pretending to be boyish. Things didn't end well when reality hit. There was a lot of yelling, a lot of accusations of lying or intentionally misleading him, and a few crimes like destruction of private property.

He doesn't think much of him anymore because they parted on such poor terms and so long ago but he was grateful for the lesson to be more clear with potential partners about any assumptions they may have made before getting very far into a relationship.

Pu-erh: What does your OC do when they’re stuck indoors for a day or two?

Flower will take the first day to read, be it his favorite books or the latest studies on healing arts but if he’s still stuck inside for a second day he’d bake a few treats or darn some clothes in between studying options for new soil additives and aetheric supplement mixtures for his plants and seedkin. He has quite a few carnivorous seedkin that followed him home (that Azure agreed to help care for) and while they’re free to come and go as they please so long as they don’t try to eat anyone or upset the ecosystem, he wants to see that they’re cared for just as much as his stationary garden.

Noct is a busybody and has a shorter attention span. Unless he’s stuck inside because he’s sick, he goes a bit kooky with too much time on his hands. He’d flip between his many hobbies since catching up on sleep is never an option for him. He’d spend the time eating (which means cooking too), knitting, whittling, sculpting, reading -assuming there’s books nearby written in the language he can fluently read. By the second day he’d have cycled through his hobbies enough to reach boredom and take to laying on the couch watching the fireplace.

Chamomile: What does your OC do to relax?

Flower likes to read, garden, or journal early beside his fish pond. He finds the early evening hours in summer evenings especially relaxing when the lighting bugs and dragonflies are out at the same time.

Noct tends not to relax so that’s difficult to answer. I guess the closest is blowing off steam drinking with his buddies at the local bar with the occasional (consensual) fistfight.

IT keep breaking my computer at work so I’m thinking about Flower’s appearance saturating and darkening between worlds.

And how, while there was immediate change that he was fine with,

it continued to change the entire time he was away as his body reached equilibrium and eventually oversaturated. And how he didn’t like that.

He’s much more attached to his hair and eye color than he thought he was.

How comfortable would your character be singing and dancing in front of others?

How likely is it for your character to initiate a friendship?

🌸🌼🌸 Flower:

Flower would be very comfortable. He does it regularly. Anytime a tune takes him, be it an earworm or a nearby public performance he’ll sing or hum along and dance if room allows. When he’s on call for trauma work or disaster relief, he’ll sing to cheer up and/or distract scared patients if they’re young or alone.

And he’s quite friendly and chatty if the mood takes him so he’s very likely to initiate a friendship. He likes people in general, relates well to others, and isn’t very shy.

🌠🌌🌠 Noct:

Noct will dance if he has a partner but even before his injury he never sang in front of people.

Despite his rbf and being the silent type (regardless of choice) his likelihood to initiate a friendship is high. Whether that friendship lasts long depends wholly on the other party and their willingness to learn or read sign language and patience when he’s writing notes. He won’t stand for people being impatient or intentionally ignorant and he certainly won’t wait around to play charades for every conversation if they aren’t willing to try learning to understand his methods of communication.
