Clarification: Essay #2 due MONDAY, 8:00 PM; peer reviews now tagged in Tumblr

I had made a mistake in the earlier announcement: Essay #2 is due Monday by 8:00 PM via email and Digication. 

Also, to assist you with drafting Essay #2, I have organized as many of your images and peer reviews in Tumblr.  I tagged both images and peer reviews by your names, and you can find this list of students' names at the bottom of the Recommended Links page: http://sbuwrt102-12-fall2012.tumblr.com/links

Therefore, you can click on your name to see (a) the advice that you gave to classmates, and (b) what advice your classmates gave in looking at your image.

Internet connectivity restored

Stony Brook emailed that Internet connectivity should be restored on campus.  However, at least on my end, Off-campus access to Blackboard, the library, and the main university web site are not now currently available.  Digication and Tumblr are still working. 

I hope these problems will be resolved by tomorrow, and that class will meet Thursday.  Otherwise, get through the recovery process, and we'll focus on getting back to work on essays afterwards.

StonyBrook.edu and Library Databases Down

A robo-call just went out from Stony Brook University, notifying that its web site is down. Sure enough, so are the library databases and Blackboard.  If you have power and are still doing research for any papers, please try the free databases listed in "Recommended Links" above at this Tumblr page.  Digication is still operational, so you still can review and revise any documents there.  Of course, focus on getting back to work on Wednesday, and just focus now on getting through this storm.
