I have been thinking about this picture every day for approximately the past two weeks so I needed to draw it before it sent me mad. Though I am happy with how it turned out even though it has made me very emotional in the process.

This is also the first time I've drawn a pair of partners from Chasm together (sort of) so I feel it's only fair to give them their proper introductions.

This is Lonnie McMillan and Dendromon.

New and improved, the Digimon Inferno website is back! And with some company. This is Digimon Ascending!

Sorry for the wait, but we’re finally back online. New layouts, all new screenshots, Disqus comments and a central hub for the upcoming fics I have planned.

I don’t think I’ve ever properly introduced Ascending, so I’ll do it now; Inferno is the first part of a trilogy, which will continue in Digimon Rise and conclude in Digimon Victory.

On top of that, there will be a couple of miniseries’, Playing with Matches and Firestarters, and a couple of half-series, Error 404 and Skirmish, which will take place in the same universe (though not necessarily chronologically) and may or may not tie into the overall story.

plus a secret unnamed final project but shush

Sounds ambitious? OTT? Probably, but let me tell you I have never been more pumped for this project than I am right now; it’s gonna be a long time in the making (though nowhere near as long between episode updates) and I hope, in the end, you’ll have as much fun with it as I’m having making it.

A couple of housekeeping bits:

- The episodes on the website are the most current versions; I haven’t gone through them all and fixed everything, but there are a few tweaks here and there. I might get round to updating the versions on FF.net and DeviantArt at somepoint, but it won’t be for a while. So if you want the up to date writings and piccies, the site’s your best option. For future updates I will try and keep each version the same.

- Those people who are linking to/have bookmarked the site, update yo links, yo. Either the subdomain inferno.digiascending.com for the fic-specific link, or if you want to link to the Ascending hub it’s just www.digiascending.com.

So you may well have plenty of cool stuff to be getting on with, but I know some of you are really waiting on my next project. Well, you won’t have long to wait, as I can reveal that the Playing with Matches premiere, The Other Side, will be released on Sunday 8th October. Updates will be every Sunday from then on. And yes, there will be pretty pictures.

I don’t think I will ever again create a Digimon design so mad as Forsetimon. I feel if this story were to be animated then the guys would be after my head.

150 to go, so I'm past the quarter-way mark. I'm hooping to reach the halfway point before I head home for the summe, but that depends on how much these things are going to severely kick my behind. I hope you appreciate how much work I'm putting into this revamp. 'Cause you know I love you guys, right?

Welcome to how I'm managing to stay vaguely sane through project work. These are some of my more fun ventures with the screenshot rework, with added COLOUR. Also another never-before-seen shot which just goes to show that I should never be allowed to try and draw plant-life ever. With any luck after this next week-ish I should be able to pick up the pace on these slightly; including the evolution pictures I've done nearly fifty, but I've still got a while to go.
