Hi guys, it’s been a little while, hope everyone is doing better than the last time. I’m about progress and balance, always. And in my progress as #vinylcollector and #listener I made some changes when it comes to my taste due to the exhaustion and over exposure to songs that always tell the same love story again and again. I didn’t had the energy to take it anymore. I had to find something else to fall back on. Have you ever asked yourself : ‘’ Do people listen music for the lyrics or the beats ?’’. My answer to that is : ‘’ ALL SOUNDS MATTERS ‘’ (please do not quote me at your protest 🤫) For this phase of an unknown length I’m going through, my heart only tolerate the orchestral sounds ( maybe I’m getting too old). Reason why for #recordoftheday I decided to introduce you to one of the many conductors you can find on #vinyl when you #diginthecrates in Europe : Claude Vasori AKA ‘’Caravelli’’ (GOD bless his soul) #claudevasori #caravelli . I won’t be able to tell you how long his #discography is, but I can tell how much his Records shows up in the #dollarbin . Pretty much every time I go out digging I see a Caravelli’s album here and there. He was between many names, one of the most prolific and prominent composers of the #easylistening genre. This particular #musicalpiece is a #reinterpretation of #simonandgarfunkel hits and #moviescores ( this is a Spanish edition by the way). If you don’t like to be bothered by the mediocre #songwriting skills of the major part of artists nowadays, this might be your remedy. I advise you to sit in the calm of your #musicroom and #chillout on this one.
