Yeah, I always try to break up my key words so they don’t end up in the search :T Or uncheck “Make my posts searchable” in my settings.

I didn’t realize that was an option! I’m going to do that. I wouldn’t mind if like art or something was in search but text posts... no.

Now, lets see… …… You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize “WOW I’m obnoxious as hell but I enjoy all those really annoying aspects of myself???” So this is more going to be a list of Qualities That Other People Probably Want To Murder Me For But That I Love AKA Reasons You Should Feel Bad For Xae.

1. I’m very expressive. Not really always… articulate, so my actual GETTING MY MEANING ACROSS does not always happen, but I talk in descriptive sounds and gestures just about as often as I bother to try to think of the actual words for what I’m saying. Which I know MIGHT NOT ALWAYS BE A GOOD THING but I like it and a lot of the time it makes people laugh and that makes me happy.

2. I am the worst person in the world to play video games with. IN THE WORLD. (ALL THE WORLDS) All those little sounds that might be pleasant on their own as you’re playing, Mario jumping and hitting a coin, the little bluhlEP sound of opening a menu, Link equipping a new weapon… I have to do them along with the game. Or immediately after. I apologize for it as I do it, but I don’t actually ever stop, and I have a wonderful time until the people around me start beating me up.

3. I have a really good memory for faces and voices, which would be a fine quality on it’s own, only I have to talk about it AS I AM in the middle of something because I like to show it off a little even though it’s not really impressive??? Watching Castle with Xae was essentially me going “OH look it’s all the minor cast members of Buffy! OH look it’s someone that appeared in HIMYM that one time! OH look - ” etc etc. (I will mostly only do this with people I’m more comfortable with, but it just doesn’t take that long for me to get to that point with this quality.)

4. I like to hear myself talk, and I like my voice, so I do things like talk about what I’m doing while I’m doing it. (An example: As I started this post, I asked Xae “Given what you’ve seen how I react to myself, what do you think I like best about me? What do I find most charming about myself?” and she laugh/cried and almost went over the side of the couch.) Then I’ll talk about my thoughts on my finished task and any reactions that happened as a result. I’ll narrate text posts instead of just showing them to people. Things like that.

5. Not really in line with everything else but I kind of like my hair right now and I make pretty good milkshakes.
