( THE ) ♛`scenery was comforting to the king as he spent many days, nights, hours, minutes, and seconds with his nose shoved into many books. It would seem he would have a never ending relationship with paper, but if it was in a book that was enjoyable he could make peace with that. The library seemed like the only comforting place he could seek shelter in to think of nothing but the interesting facts he would be provided with. The city at least was useful in some ways for him even if they couldn’t be more useful like providing a way out.
❝ A shame I will not be able to visit any of these places... ❞
His fingers would briefly caress a image of a place in the book he was reading. A far away land he could only image within the walls of his mind, this place did not exist in his home, but it was nice to know somewhere out there a scenery like so was available for some. Not like he was complaining though, he did enjoy what he had as well. Just a shame he could appreciate it in person like he wanted to do.
Being taken away from his thoughts, he would hear some rather loud noises. Noises that didn’t sound all too welcoming and sounded more of a panic than one would normally hear. Standing from his seat he would walk over around the corner to peek at what was conspiring. Honestly, if he had the choice to go back in time he would use that ability right now. He didn’t expect to see hot burning flames in the library. ❝ Wh-What on earth happened -- water! We need some water! ❞ Quickly he decided it probably wasn’t a good thing to ask what happened, that could wait until later. What was important now was to contain the flames and put it out.
