I FUCKING HATE THE WORD LARP. OMG, NIGGAS ON TIKTOK LEARNED IT ONCE AND STARTED OVERUSING IT. SAME WITH PERFORMATIVE. LIKE, THEY ARE CALLING NORTH WEST A LARPER FOR PUTTING UNDERGROUND MUSIC IN HER VIDS. LIKE OMG, LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS. YOU CANNOT EVEN ENJOY THINGS IN 2026 WITHOUT BEING CALLED A LARPER.
Peabo Bryson, the Grammy-winning R&B singer whose voice became part of Disney history through “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion and “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle, has died at 75.
Bryson suffered a stroke in late May and died Tuesday evening, according to a statement from his family.
While many fans know him from those Oscar-winning Disney duets, Bryson spent more than five decades as one of R&B’s great balladeers, scoring hits with songs like “Feel the Fire,” “I’m So Into You,” “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” and “Can You Stop the Rain.” He also recorded beloved duets with Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole, and others, becoming one of the most recognizable voices in adult contemporary and R&B music.
For a lot of people, Peabo Bryson’s voice was woven into first dances, wedding receptions, road trips, and childhood movie memories. A pretty great legacy to leave behind.

Indian global superstar Diljit Dosanjh returned to The Tonight Show to talk with Jimmy Fallon about his record-breaking, history-making SOLD OUT North American stadium and arena tour that kicked off last week with 55,000 fans at Vancouver’s BC Place. The tour immediately broke Live Nation’s North American ticket pre-sale mark for a South Asian artist and he has gone on to sell out two nights at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City as the venue’s first-ever Punjabi headliner.
Dosanjh also performed “Morni” off his new EP The Call of Panjab on Fallon. The song blends his signature Punjabi instruments with hip-hop beats. The stunning performance put Punjabi culture front and center and featured Dosanjh and two Bhangra dancers.
Dosanjh has made history many times over already in his career, in 2023 he became the first Punjabi artist to headline Coachella and in 2024 he became the first Indian artist to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His 2024 massive sold-out DIL-LUMINATI tour made history at stadiums and arenas across North America as the highest-grossing tour by an Indian artist. Since the DIL-LUMINATI tour, Dosanjh earned his first International Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance By An Actor and was voted best dressed by GQ and Vogue at his debut Met Gala appearance. He also collaborated with rapper Saweetie for the sizzling “summer banger” (HNHH) “Khutti,” joined Ed Sheeran on stage at his Mumbai show performing Dosanjh’s 300-million streamed hit “Lover,” J Balvin recently featured on his single “Senorita,” and he reunited with Sia for “Ranjha” with David Guetta.

LABRINTH DROPS 'COSMIC OPERA ACT II'
Labrinth releases Cosmic Opera Act II today, twelve tracks that confirm what his body of work has always suggested: that he is one of the most emotionally intelligent and compositionally fearless artists working.
"The Living," one of the focus tracks, moves seamlessly from guitar-driven verses into a pop-leaning anthemic chorus, with operatic flourishes and EDM elements woven throughout. Its lyric captures what runs through much of the album- a distrust of purely transactional interactions and the systems built to exploit them: “Hey there zombie meet the breathing / You told me I should sit here and dig up my own grave / But your funeral homes this is how they get paid.”
Labrinth's signature fusion of orchestral production, pop sensibility, and genre-defying experimentation runs through the record. "Anointed Reprobate" opens with austere authority. "Prostitute" layers staccato delivery and compelling lyricism against haunting vocals and expansive orchestral textures. "Bouncy Castle & Trampolines" moves between childlike whimsy and clear-eyed awareness of the world's weight. "Very Good Boy" arrives with plaintive lyrics against big horns and delicate ornamentation- haunting and deeply felt. Cosmic Opera Act II is the second installment of a deliberate arc. Cosmic Opera Act I, released in January 2026, established the world. Act II extends it, emotionally and sonically, into territory that is rawer, bolder, and more expansive. Together the two albums form a cohesive and cumulative body of work.
Grammy-nominated composer and Emmy Award winner Labrinth scored Seasons 1 and 2 of Euphoria, the critically acclaimed HBO series where his soulful, haunting, and deeply cinematic music served as the emotional heartbeat of the series, shaping its atmosphere and identity. . The qualities central to that work- ethereal production, raw emotional depth, music that is deeply cinematic and emotionally resonant- are the same qualities at the core of the Cosmic Opera albums.
Stream Cosmic Opera Act II now, and catch Labrinth live on The Undoing Tour, launching July 31 in Los Angeles. Tickets and tour information at labrinth.com.
