After the carpet bombing of the city, and an ambush from Mugendramon, Hikari and the others had fallen into the underground. Despite falling with them, she woke up alone, not even Tailmon to accompany her.

So she wandered around, somewhat aimlessly, somewhat stealthily, slowly ending up in more important looking places, until the moment she sees their current opponent, sitting before an array of monitors alone. Probably looking for them, she supposes.

It’s a good thing for her friend’s sake, and especially her brother’s sake that they’re not here, because she can only imagine how terrified and stressed out they’d be to see her walk right up to the war machine.

“Why are you trying to kill us? Is there any reason at all?”

"You have an older sibling? I must say, that is quite an interesting factoid..." This was news to Faitomon, considering he was not aware of Digimon having siblings typically.

Indeed, Faitomon was not from this area. Or world, for that matter!

"Oh, please excuse my manners... I am Faitomon. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. How about yourself?" The Rookie 'mon bowed so politely, it might be seen as strange to the other Digimon. "I suppose you could say I am from the Digital World, yes."
