There is a hashtag that I saw today that made me pause and think about the film camera industry. As many people know that film camera is hard to find these days. You can get them used ones online but many (if not) all retailers don’t sell film cameras. The reason is because there are so many other ways to take photos like smartphones and digital cameras.  Film camera industry is not popular but there are enthusiastic folks who love taking photos with film cameras. I appreciate their advocacy because they keep the industry alive and force people to look back and re-learn the history of photography. Someone said that you have to learn the past to learn the future. I wonder if the photography community is taking this seriously.
