Read on AO3: one step at a time Summary: After the war, Slytherin house is dwindling - students are leaving or requesting re-sortings, and first-years arrive with an ingrained fear of being sorted into a house blamed for so much of the horrors of the past years. Draco and Harry are back for their 8th year and join forces to stop the bullying Slytherin students have to face. It doesn't help that Draco has been in love with Harry for years and their necessary proximity poses its challenges. Word Count: 10,687 Rating: Mature Contains: discussions of social justice, falsely assigned blame, mentions of bullying Notes: @digtheshipp protest work is something they are very interested in at the moment, I hope the discussions of social justice, responsibility and rehabilitation, and falsely assigned blame are topics that cover that sufficiently. I wanted this fic to be more explicit, but the plot kind of took over and it would have been too big a leap, but there is a lot of pining and gradual coming together that hopefully makes up for the scarcity smut. :)

Adult Teddy is a gift to us all - his devotion to Draco is heartwarming, I love their relationship so much. It's such a lovely look at how romantic relationships can differ at different stages in life, seeing Draco and Harry coming back to each other while Teddy is having the ups and downs of a new possible relationship in the background. The way that the snippets of information about how Draco and Harry were together before and why they broke up was so clever, and I felt so sorry for Draco! Also, Neville and Charlie? Never considered it, now considering it very hard... A lovely festive story in a beautiful setting!

Read another long fic on AO3: A Long Time Summary: Harry and Draco are both helping out protests against the Ministry in secret. When the press assumes that they are dating when they are spotted together in public while discussing the protest details, they have to go with it, or expose their involvement. Along the way, feelings get exposed that neither of them expected. Word Count: 5648 words Rating: Explicit Contains: Enemies to friends (sort of) to lovers, fake relationship, blow job, hand job Notes: Happy owlpost, @digtheshipper! I've never written anything like this before, and the idea for the protest came from a recent IRL thing in my country. So I hope it was at least close to what you were thinking when you prompted it!

Steve knocked on Bucky's door to see if they were ready to go. They were attending Natasha's Halloween party where costumes were "required." When Bucky didn't answer, Steve let himself in. "Buck, you ready?" Bucky held the Wonder Woman shield with black and gold designs on it. "Yeah, almost." Steve hadn't yet collected his jaw up the floor when Bucky gave him a confused look. The boots, the short shorts, and the red corset left Steve's throat dry. Also, Bucky's skin was smooth and glowing. How did he even get to do that? Steve thought he was exposed with his snug Superman costume but Bucky? Well hot damn, Bucky left him breathless. He was standing confidently while Steve, a nervous wreck. "Let's go?" They got to the font door when Steve hesitated. "What's the matter, Steve?" Steve couldn't explain what was wrong with him. "You wanna know why this is my costume?"   Steve nodded, unable to trust his voice. "Well, in the movies, Wonder Woman hooks up with Steve plus in the comics, she falls in love with Superman." He winked when Steve's eyes widened. Bucky gave Steve a blinding grin, holding his hand. "Either way, you're my boyfriend tonight."
