Artist’s notes: These ladies may look fancy but they’re well prepared for their mission: Halle’s floofy skirt hides all the weaponry she’s got strapped to her thighs while Naomi’s slit skit lets her kick freely. Unfortunately they got slightly distracted from their mission by how much fun they’re having.

I stopped reading right at this panel just to sit back for a moment and really admire your art.

I am absolutely in love with how you've drawn all these limbs here. The hands! the wrinkles in Light's pyjamas! They're fact that everything that's touching is solidly interacting with each other! This really is one of the most gorgeous things I've seen from you yet, and that's a high bar,

I really wanted to get that particular panel as right as possible, so I actually downloaded a free posing app, arranged the general composition, and drew it about three different times until I liked the result enough to move on (I actually drew quite a few panels in this thing multiple times). Had to wing it with the clothes of course, so I’m glad they turned out well enough to make you pause! I’m always happy to hear that my efforts are paying off. Thanks thanks thanks! Every decent person would answer like this. I don't understand why people ship it, honestly; there was no chemistry between these two, ever. Moreover, L tortured Light and Light killed L. But I find this ship aesthetically pleasing, that's why I've drawn so many fanart with them.

I find their vibes and aesthetic pretty cool, I even have a folder full of lawmane fanart because, as I said, they look cool as a ship, but I never really cared about them. I simply don't believe they could be together, they live in completely different worlds.

Hmmm a special sedate someone who’s rich and doesn’t die… I match you with Roger Ruvie! Roger might be a ‘vintage’ taste but he’s got the stability and wealth of Wammy’s House backing him up. Is the mortgage on Wammy’s paid off? Watari is just the kind of ass to leave Roger holding the bag on a triple-reverse underwater mortgage but I think Roger’s smart enough to keep plenty socked away for a rainy day. You two can sip sherry fireside while he tells you war stories and complains about Mello. As far as is stated in How to Read, Roger hasn’t died (even if he hasn’t appeared in the latest one shot), so you still have time dillyfirestarter. Just don’t wait too long lol

I was devastated this panel from chapter 46 was cut from the anime because this makes me laugh every time I look at it. Look at the size difference! Laios' forearm is as thick as Chilchuck's thighs, he could easily scruff that little man and fling him away if he wanted to, but instead he's gone limp, hands ready to catch that bony little fist if it flies.

Does Chilchuck even realise how Laios is protecting his ego?

As a trans woman, I also see the "being aware you're bigger and stronger and therefore being scared you're going to hurt people if you fight back" feeling that a lot of trans women have before figuring out their gender in Laios not even trying to fight back against Chilchuck. I dunno, Kui always leaves these things deliberately a little vague.
