Imagine Genshin as a visual novel. Which 'route' you choose?
Aether - MC who is always at the epicenter of something, but also always gets the best boys.
Zhongli and Diluc - The main contenders for the protagonist heart and their routes are the most favourites among players. Zhongli's route is very calm and relaxing, while Diluc's is cold but caring.
Tartaglia and Kaeya - They also very much sympathize MC, but always stand one step aside the main love triangle. However, if you can attributed Kaeya to those friends who retreat their happiness for the sake of another, Tartaglia wants to achieve his goal and his route can be one of the saddest (in terms of the endings).
Razor - The favorite character of the players, with a heartwarming story and a desire to squeeze him. According to all game canons can't be with MC, no matter how much he adore him. But everyone adores him.
Venti - A charming boy, the element of grace and humor in the plot. Usually players choose this route after all others. Itself the route is filled with a touching and tender story of the character.
Xingqiu - Do you know routes about heir tsundere? In his route he'll try to avoid the MC in every possible way, thinking that he only needs his money, but in the end he'll definitely fall for Aether.
Albedo - An interesting route with some unexpected twist that opens character from a completely different side. It may start out as something innocent, but turn into a real tragedy.
Xiao - The bonus route after completing all others. A character with a difficult route. He will smile at the end, say that the MC is beautiful, but they are not destined to be together. He will leave, making the players cry, because 'don't try to fool the demon'.
I can't say anything about the rest of the boys yet, 'cos there is too little info about them for now. And ofc all of this is just my personal imagination.
