Listen, I’m not comfortable referring to Ayda “Schrodinger’s Age” Aguefort as sexy, but that was a truly incredible feat.

Cathilda, being the absolutely wonderful woman she is, bakes a ton of cookies for Ayda and gives her more maternal love than Ayda knew was possible (which, in fairness to Ayda’s mom, phoenixes aren’t renowned for their maternal instinct). Ayda tries to pay Cathilda 150 gold pieces for a cookie because that seems like the logical going price for something this delicious.

Ayda: Cathilda, here is 150 gold for the baked goods.

Cathilda: Oh, there’s no need for any of that. I made them especially for you.

Ayda: Very well. 200 gold, but I will not go any higher.

Cathilda: No, deary. There’s no payment required. They’re a gift.

Ayda: I don’t understand. I may consume these cookies without being in dept to you? Why?

Chathilda: Because that’s what friends do, sweetheart.

Ayda (crying fire): I must update my list of friends immediately.

For my own mind's sake, I'd like to think that he has a way of communicating with the phoenix and that she is consenting to all of that. At least I hope so

The forgotten realms wiki says that phoenixes speak through telepathy and any stat blocks I’ve found have positive intelligence modifiers.

how do you think the bad kids (plus ragh, tracker, gilear, sandralynn and cathilda (holy shit they have a huge party now)) will adjust to a high fantasy setting? how soon will gilear be put in mortal danger?

Gilear puts himself in mortal danger by getting out of bed every morning every morning. I’d say Fabian would be putting him in mortal danger, but Fig, Sandralynn, and the rest of the party tbh are not gonna allow it.

As for how everyone handles the high fantasy setting, here’s a list from best to worst:

Cathilda - Based only on what she’s implied, Cathilda might be the only party member with practical experience adventuring outside Solace (maybe Sandralynn, but I think Cathilda’s been through some crazy swashbuckling shit).

Sandralynn - Badass Ranger mom. She’s got the survival skills they need in addition to being the most rational/logical member of the party by a pretty decent margin.

Adiane - She grew up outside Solace and so she knows the score (also the anxiety meds have definitely bumped her up in these rankings). The only reason she’s not higher is because she definitely doesn’t any adventuring experience outside Solace.

Tracker - Wild child. She can take whatever the fantasy world throws at her. She’s capable, rational, and she’s got a good head on her shoulders.

Riz - There’ll definitely be some modern conveniences he’s gonna miss, but, as possibly the most level-headed Bad Kid™️, I think he’ll be good. Also, he definitely is gonna do a ton of research and prep work to avoid culture shock.

Fabian - He’s spent his whole life immersed in stories of swashbuckling adventures from beyond Solace’s borders. He’s spent forever training for this. But, he’s bringing a fucking motorcycle, which has shot him WAY down this list.

Gorgug - Gorgug’s a wildcard. Is his low intelligence gonna be an issue or is he gonna unfazed by his new surroundings (or at least no more fazed as usual).

Kristen - Seeing what the world outside Solace is like will most definitely trigger her hourly crisis of faith. I don’t see her effectively communicating with someone without a modern frame of reference.

Ragh - Like Gorgug, but dumber and more likely to go feral when he doesn’t understand something.

Fig - I don’t think there’s much that could faze Fig, but she 100% gonna throw off the natural order of things. Fig is ready for the high fantasy world, but it’s not ready for her. She’s gonna bring Rock to the peasants and then god help us all!

Gilear - Gilear has never been prepared for anything that’s ever happened.

What do you think the Bad Kids and Aewlyn’s reunion will be like???

Very hard to say! I think the main factor is what will Aelwyn be like? She could’ve changed a lot over the multiple harrowing months.

Like, what if Aelwyn starts running towards Adiane and Adiane prepares herself for battle only to be embraced in a big hug by her sister.

Aelwyn (sobbing): I was so scared I was never going to see you again.

Adiane (flustered): I... um...

Fabian (clears his throat): How ‘bout a hug for me?

Aelwyn: Who are you again?

I think Tl83 is an artificer homebrew id I were to guess. Also maybe boomer is a bard, since it says he wants to be an actor.

I could definitely buy TI-83 as an artificer. But to me it seems like acting might be Boomer’s passion and not his strong suit. idk, I could be wrong, but if your backstory is that your someone’s “muscle” who dreams of being an actor, you’re at least not starting level 1 as a bard

Fantasy High Community AU where Aguefort is a poorly run adventuring school (not that Aguefort in canon is a super tight ship) where everyone gets into just as many dramatic situations, they're just objectively super low stakes.

I LOVE this idea. The Bad Kids even fill the roles of the Study Group pretty well. Fabian is Jeff. Sweet Gorgug is VERY MUCH Troy. Riz fits Abed pretty well, their areas of interest don’t overlap too much, but their levels of obsession are similar. Adaine and Annie share SO much in common. Kristen started as Shirley, but she’s now totally Britta. And Fig is... Chang I guess? Even in the insane world of Community, Chang’s the only person I could believe making Fig-esque decisions.

Also, I’d love to see the “Advanced Dungeons & Dragons” episode play out in Aguefort (not just because it’s meta as hell). I just love the idea of Fabian feeling guilty for bullying Giler so much that he organizes a game of D&D to try to prevent him from killing himself. Also, Gorgug would definitely attack using his “additional notes”
