This prompt was a really fun way to start off this blog. Dimensional Scream was so free for memory, and a really fun way to introduce Plutonium again.. Hoping to do more stuff here soon!!

random explorers mechanics bc i love talking about it :)

female mons have raised accuracy while male mons have raised crit chance

female mons are on even numbered floors and males are on odd numbered floors (unless the mon is gender locked or gender neutral)

in explorers of sky only, you can hold the start button during the dinner cutscene to immediately skip to the “the next morning” text if and only if there’s no extra cutscenes beyond the dinner cutscene and the “we did a good job today” text before bed

in explorers of sky, you can cheese the primal dialga fight by wondermailing in y-ray specs, throwing them at him, have your partner set to “go after foes”, have the camera set to not switch to your off screen teammates, walking away to the point both are off screen and hold a+b so your partner ends the fight in seconds. the y-ray specs are basically a permanent x-eye seed

you can also cheese the palkia fight by throwing a hunger seed at them

the only way to give phanpy a stab move is by having it hold a reviver seed and using natural gift

time and darkness go way beyond pokemon differences. seeds, orbs, tms, and gummies are also split between games. also some dialogue is different. the games really are just beta sky considering how much was added

speaking of time and darkness compared to sky, in time and darkness you have to recruit palkia in order to evolve and in sky you do not

this last one is actually about blue and red rescue team, but there are bananas in those games. they’re just hidden in the walls. they restore the same amount of belly as apples
