Ed had tons of questions he wanted to ask Edward. Most of them about what kind of person his crush wanted to date or what they--Edward and his date wanted to do...

And he even had a few good ones memorized in his head, but when he opened his mouth to ask, something completely different came out instead.

She frowns when she notices Ed’s shivering, removing her jacket to place it over him. Shira keeps her eyes trained on him, green irises flickering to red as her worry grows by the moment. She didn’t like how pale he was becoming, and when she heard the sirens of the ambulance, she sighs in relief. The paramedics stop just in front of the alley, quickly jumping out and rolling a gurney over to them. 

Shira stands to get out of the way, eyes wide as they carefully put Edward on the gurney. One of the paramedics asks if she’s riding with, and for a moment she hesitates. She barely knows Edward, but then again....she does want to make sure he’s okay. She nods and sits on the little bench inside the ambulance, lightly gripping Edward’s hand.

“Look who it is!” Envy yelled in fitful glee while his hand came to slam onto Edward Elric’s shoulder like a pat received from an old friend. “If it isn’t the fullmetal pipsqueak! What brings your sorry ass back to me?”

“You’d be more likely to encourage his ass to get into trouble and then chew him out when he did something really stupid.” Ed laughed. He could easily see the other not batting an eye to some of the reckless actions until it got out of hand. Even if it was all just a hypothetical instance. That was half the fun of these conversations in the first place.

He blinked at Edward and grinned, “Well, if you do end up marrying a hot blonde, you could always try talking them into having a cosplay wedding.” he teased, “I will absolutely help you find a costume for the other groom so that you can marry Cloud if they’re up for it too. Course, it does raise the question of who you’d dress up as.”

Ed laughed. Edward was probably right. It was too much fun to resist. “Hey, nothing like getting into a little trouble to get my blood pumping, right?” As long as no one else got hurt, he was definitely down for some fun.

A cosplay wedding? He hadn’t really considered that, though it seemed like it could be a lot of fun. Ed had seen some online pictures and articles about other people doing that. And he could now marry whomever he wanted whereas a couple years ago considering this would have only felt like an unattainable fantasy. “Heh, I don’t know who I’d dress up as.” Or who would cosplay Cloud, although Ed knew who he’d want it to be. “Maybe Link? I don’t want to wear a wig or cut my hair. Who do you think I should go as? Anyone I kind of look like?”

PSA: Just wanted to let you guys know on behalf of diminishedimperfection / edwards-shadow‘s mun that she will be gone until at least tomorrow. Her laptop is having charging issues that need to be fixed, which hopefully won’t be too hard to do. So if anyone is wondering where she disappeared to, now you know!
