All I Want for Christmas || Riding Shotgun

Silver tinsel was 'puked' around the motel. Elena had hung it around the makeshift living room. Silver string surrounded the TV and hung on the edge of the shelving; the only thing containing it to the motel-owned furniture were pieces of the almighty Scotch tape.

On the dining room table was Sam's laptop, which Elena had 'hacked' or, so kindly asked to borrow, to put some Christmas music on, to livin' up the room a bit more, and tinsel sheddings.

Elena danced, or more so coincidentally swung her hips from side-to-side in time with the beat of the music, as she pulled decorations out of Target bags, located next to the door. ♫ "Santa, won't you bring the one I really need? Won't you please bring my baby to me?"♪

She was choosing to have a smile on her face instead of opting for missing her family. When life hands you lemonade you take them and smile.
