The Mind, The Heart...and Beauty
Our Minds are remarkable Tools: It can create ‘worlds’ (look at video games) ;
it can create tools; it can create way to feed millions of people...........but.....it can also be easily programed with false information, disinformation, limited beliefs, prejudices, angers, hatred, etc. The Subconscious Mind, according to Ernest Holmes of Science Of Mind, will work best when it is given ‘insturctions’ as it cannot ‘think by itself. Unfortunately, these “instructions” come from limited sources: Our parents hopefully tried to guide us the best they could. But they were usually relying on information and processes that were given to them by THEIR parents - information that was not always in their own best interests and may have been heavily skewed. So, unless we take direction of our oWN Minds, we will simply repeat the process within our own lives and program our children with the same limitations we were taught. How do we alter the ‘Cycle”? by turning our attention away from the Mind and its Programs to the Heart and IT’S Connection to Source. Many Scriptures tell us that the “Kingdom of God is within you”. It has also been called “The Secret Place Of The Most High”. Why would they call it a “secret place’? Because so many people, for centuries, have listened only to the Programs of the Mind. NOW, is the time to alter that!
The Ancient Egyptians knew very well the value of the Heart over the Mind. The Mind they simply removed from the body at death. But the Heart..............THAT was what was weighed to determine one’s place in the Afterlife!
The Dine’ People also know the value of the Heart. They have may Ceremonies that focus specifically on getting the Mind and Heart back into Harmony....which they call “Beauty”. If someone has become ‘off-balanced’ their lives will not flow in Peace.they will be troubled and will so influence their family. Singers perform Ceremonies that will help the person to get back into Balance.
It is high time that we begin to Honor and focus on the Heart; to meditate upon it right there within your chest; see the Heart Chakra color of Green fill you with Knowing rather than past programs that may not support who you REALLY are!
