I'm so glad I'm not alone! I was afraid maybe I was being too judgmental about a character I didn't know yet but I guess the writing really does have something to do with it. Oh man :( I'm not sure how I'll deal with more frustrating storyline but I guess it's to be expected with this series! YES BRIENNE <333 YOU LIKE HER TOO SIS?~ She's my hero! i went out of class hours to help my professor collect frames for our honey extraction. it was simultaneously the coolest and most frightening thing i've ever done. i really want to continue to challenge myself like that. AND ALSO, BEES.

That is really amazing! It sounds like a lot of fun, and not something I ever thought about people studying. I hope you do get to work in the lab!

right? i hadn't really considered that apiology was an entire field of study, but if you think about it, beekeeping is a multimillion dollar industry, particularly strong in california, the state that my school is in. (it's because of their use in pollinating almond trees) you can check out the department's website at bees.ucr.edu if you're curious :)
