Who wore it best?

My wonderful mom made this Melt the ICE hat pin for me, but since it’s an actual miniature hat - not just a flat outline - I thought I would see how it looked on some of my Creetures!

If you’re unfamiliar, the red knitted hat (typically with a tassel) was used as a symbol of protest against Nazi occupation in Norway in the 1940s. These hats are re-emerging now as a new symbol of protest against I.C.E, with the money made from the pattern going to immigrant aid agencies to help those who have been negatively affected by I.C.E. A gremlin variety from WWII. While often associated with more general illustrations of silvery gremlins with single tufts of hair, the dingbelles' true description is unclear.

The Dingbelle is a Gremlin-like creature found in Canada. The Dingbelle is described as a small and white Gremlin-like creature with a small tuft of hair of their heads and they are wearing what appears to be a suit with a ruffled collar. Dingbelles were said to be invisible and caused mischief around the Women’s Division of the Canadian Armed Forces by using slingshots to sling objects into women’s eyes, using the PA system to broadcast personal conversations throughout the building, jam typewriter keys, and hide in women’s purses and look at pictures of men. The Dingbelles were also often blamed for commons accidents around the workplace.

I did a little photoshoot with the Chibi Bunnyman and Dingbelle I made (both based on art from Metazoo Games tcg - by PONCHO and Victor Larson respectively) and turned them into cheesy Valentine’s cards that people might give each other in the Metazoo universe! The “plane” pun on the Dingbelle’s comes from their history/origin in the Canadian Air Force in WWI :)

(Also, I didn’t have an axe or hatchet to use in the photo with the chibi bunnyman, so I had to make do with a kitchen knife)
