forgive me if im going over something you've already posted about but within the 'troll blood = reproductive fluid' idea, worth noting that trolls 'fill buckets', which is the tool used in ms paint to select colours (i.e. of blood)?

That Ms. Paint is one classy Prospitian lady. She is the model of grace and beauty. I am always a bit flustered in her presence, especially when she carries her little pail around like that.

And the matter of Nepeta painting with blood in her womb-cave also feels pretty on the nose as far as collapse between art-production and reproduction goes

i dont think eridan saying it's "just soda" necessarily means it doesnt have a soporific effect on trolls. rose does a bluh after trying alcohol for the first time too! i think it's just meant to mean he doesnt like it personally

Oh true! Looking at the page now he states it’s not great but not that bad either but doesn’t deny it having a soporific effect :o. He just sorta implies soda isn’t a huge deal, at least to him, which perhaps means soda is more of a highblood thing to drink? Probably because, assuming that it’s like alcohol but for trolls, it’s expensive so it probably isn’t all that common for lowbloods to spend the small amount of money they have on it, if they can even afford it in the first place

Also interestingly enough! Feferi does also support typical soda being soporific for trolls as she attempts to drown her sorrows in a drink and quotes the “I need a beer/drink” line just replacing beer/drink with sugary drink in this case :o! (tab being a sugar free drink is part of the gag I guess but still!!)
