Norman takes comfort in the rain. It means customers for his business, company for himself, and water for his mother's garden and the birdbath. He turns his gaze back to the stranger, a smile on his face.

"I don't think it's rained like this in-- in a few months."

What a lovely night for camping. Allen had managed to set the whole thing up, from cleverly lying to his parents about where they going for the weekend to gathering their gear to picking a good spot in the forest to set up shop. It was a pretty fun camping trip too with singing and jokes and the occasional strange creature they passed. But now it was late and time to sleep in their tent.

For the first time in weeks, Allen was actually sleeping well. Tori held onto her brothers as she slept as usual. It was only Victor who was awake now. And possibly it was a good thing, because he heard something outside.

The boy carefully got up and peaked out the tent, looking for signs of danger. "…h-hello?" he quietly asked the forest.
