This is true! I'm glad they're using the Buddy System. May they hike the Appalachian Trail 5 times every year until they're ready to retire and open a rescue home for senior golden retrievers.

Part of me wants to say I get why people think he’s respectful and perfect and that the Jedi are wrong about him, because he does do a lot of good stuff, but at the same time another part of me wonders if they haven’t just fallen for the same shtick Qui-Gon pulls on everyone, because key thing about Qui-Gon is that he likes to make people think he’s dignified and wise and above it all but he’s really just 6’4 with a beard and has gotten really good at using that to his advantage.

You look at him with his long cloak and his tunics and you think, huh, okay, I believe that guy is a Jedi, and he’ll say something vague that sounds really smart and you’ll be like well he sure sounds like he knows what he’s talking about, but it’s an act, it’s all an act. Because underneath the sagely remarks and noble bearing that man is a bitch, and everyone who’s spent more than a day around him knows it.

Do you have thoughts on Ahsoka's first Convergence after she becomes a Padawan?

YES! Absolutely!

Namely, my first thoughts are that Ahsoka & Anakin are not in the Temple. Generally speaking, a lot of holidays and traditions have to be modified more than usually because of the war and the long absences from the Temple. So Ahsoka's first Convergence:

Anakin is panicking. This is their first huge Master-Padawan milestone and he doesn't want to mess up. (Ahsoka's also a bit worried, but less so because, well. She was upset they weren't going to be in the Temple and then just assumed nothing would happen. They're not going to be in the Temple for it but on a mission and how is he supposed to make this work, but he's determined to try.

Day 1: They can't quite watch the usual theatre performances, but Anakin is a certified theatre nerd so he shows her his favorite theatre performances and they end up telling stories in-between

Day 2: Anakin grabbed some food from the last planet they were on and cooks together with Ahsoka and they share with the Clones! Obi-Wan and Feemor are both on the other side of the galaxy but Kath'resi drops by because they need a transport back.

Day 3: They have a few candles they can light, but this was always a day for Remembrance, so they light these few candles not only for their lineage, but also the fallen Clones of their company

Day 4: Tournament day! They also sort of make this work by Ahsoka fighting as many Clones (without her lightsaber) as want to challenge her before sparring Anakin

Day 5: They write their goal down on flimsi and burn it, but more people actually want to participate so they end up with a small secure fire in the hangers

At the end of the week, Ahsoka is super happy they still got to celebrate and have fun and she has absolutely no idea how relieved Anakin was when she proclaimed it because he was stressing.

As the year passes, Ahsoka's determined that by the next Convergence, she can help her Master with the preparations. And it looks like they might even be in the Temple for it, which means she gets to actually choose properly what to cook and wouldn't it be fun if the Convergence would align with Hardeen hahahaha
