Fic prompt - Han/Din/Luke out at dinner - one of them thinks they’re third wheeling but they’re actually on a Date
((Decided to make them all stupid.))
*~*~*
Luke was in pain. He looked down at his dinner plate, sure that if he made any attempt to eat it, he'd throw up. He was grinding his teeth together, pulling at a loose threat on his glove, ready to run out the door at any moment.
When Din had suggested this dinner, he expected he'd be able to handle it. So what if his best friend and probably the great love of his life was dating his student's father? So what if Luke had developed overwhelming, all-consuming feelings for that father too?
He could handle the dinner.
"You okay, Junior?" Han asked.
"Totally fine," Luke said, lying through his teeth.
Han looked strange too, Luke noticed. Maybe this whole operation was a bad idea.
Din rested a hand on Luke's knee, and Luke nearly jumped out of his chair.
"Sorry," Din said. But he left his hand there. Luke glanced at Han, who'd turned away.
~
Han felt stupid. Of course that's what this was. Din wasn't interested in him. They'd connected over their boys' training, and nothing else. Luke, like always, was the golden boy, the one everyone was after.
Han counted himself among the many after him.
Shortly after he and Leia separated, Luke had turned him down, not wanting to feel like "the backup." No matter what Han did or said, he never seemed to quite get through to Luke just what he meant to him.
And now some handsome Mandalorian daddy had scooped Luke up right out from under him.
Why he'd agreed to this dinner at all, he had no idea. Any excuse to see the two of them, he guessed. What a fucking moron he was.
~
Din had never been happier. His two partners already loved each other, which made bringing them together that much easier. He wasn't really taking his helmet off for them yet - just lifting it to eat and drink - but all of the feelings were there. There was intimacy like Din had never really shared with romantic partners before.
But tonight, both men seemed a bit ... strange. He tried not to think about it. It had been a long time since they'd last been together. And, anyway, they still weren't back together yet, just both dating Din. Din was hoping to change all of that soon.
Luke stood up suddenly. "I'm sorry, I don't think I can do this."
"Cyar'ike," Din said, reaching out for him, "what's wrong?"
"No, Luke, you stay," Han said. "I'm making this weird. I should leave," Han offered, standing.
"Why would you leave?" Luke asked.
"He's your Mando."
"He's not my anything," Luke said.
Din's face fell behind his helmet. Oh.
"You're not?" Din asked.
"What?" Luke asked.
"You're both ... precious to me," Din said.
"We're precious?" Din couldn't tell if Han's tone was mocking or bewildered. Probably both.
Luke sat back down. "What ... why are we here?" He asked.
Din stared at the table. "We're ... on a date. Having dinner together. I thought it was time we all had dinner together, instead of leaving one person out," Din said, not sure exactly where the confusion came from.
Both men stared at him confused. They were confused? Din was confused! Images of the intimacy between them all flashed through his mind -- his helmet tilted up for shared meals; Luke leaning his body on his for comfort; he and Han exchanging parenting stories; Han getting on his --
"I thought you were both --," Din paused. "I'm sorry, I wasn't very clear."
Han sat back down. "So we're," he pointed at Din, "dating?"
"Yes."
"And you're," he pointed back and forth between him and Luke, "dating?"
"Yes."
"So we're all," he made a circle with his finger, "dating?"
"That's why I asked us to have dinner. To figure that out."
Luke's face was in his hands.
"Did you really both not know?" Din asked. "I thought I was very obvious."
Han patted him on the shoulder. "Buddy," he paused, "guess that's not a great thing to call a boyfriend. ... Sweetie pie, you've never been obvious about anything."
Din/Luke/Han, two of them have sex to get revenge on an ex (and then…you know)
This got really long really fast lol. Mostly skysolo (angst and smut) and dinhan (mostly smut, some fluff under it all).
M or E, depending on your bar. I'd probably go with E.

When Luke had dumped him to pursue a Jedi lifestyle, Han promised he "wouldn't get in the way."
It did occur to him, though, as he sauntered up to Mando, that this might count as getting in the way. But it was only three weeks after their break up, and Han was in need of some rebound and revenge sex. It's not like he was the Jedi here.
They'd met before, back in Luke's school, when Luke had introduced Han as "his friend" (Han's first real warning of what was to come). Mando introduced himself as the only parent to the only student. So when Han spotted the shiny fucker in a Mos Eisley dive bar, he'd figured that was the perfect balm for his Luke-shaped wounds.
Sex with Mando was remarkably gentle, despite all the cold metal pressing into him.
Han had his hands pressed against the side of Mando's ship. Mando's hands were holding onto his hips, keeping him bent over, with one of his feet keeping Han's legs spread as far as they would go with his pants down around his shins.
He tried not to think about the fact that Mando's dick was about the same length as Luke's, or that the two kept a remarkably similar pace when inside him. Instead, he kept his focus on all the differences, like Mando's reserved, quiet nature, his heavier weight, the grip on Han's hips. The way he didn't take off his gloves to reach around to offer Han a handy half way through. Luke always either took the glove off or used his left hand. Din kept both on. It felt a little strange, definitely dry for his taste, but sufficient.
Mando came before Han, thrusting hard into him as it happened. Hard enough that he pushed Han forward, smashing the crown of his head into the side of the ship.
"Remarkable ship," Han said, rubbing his head as he stood up.
Mando pressed himself up against Han's back. "Yeah, it is." There was a second of quiet as Mando slipped himself out of Han, a hand still stroking his hard cock. "I could use your help with something," Mando whispered to him.
"Yeah? So could I."
Mando pressed Han back up against this ship, standing him upright this time. Mando slid a hand around to his backside, working his fingers into his crack.
"Could we lose the gloves?" Han asked.
Mando grunted, apparently agreeing to it. He slipped two naked fingers into Han's hole as he explained that there was some bounty hiding out on this rock.
"You'd be a great help," Din said. "You know a lot of people. And your ship is bigger than mine."
"Yeah it is," Han smirked.
"So you'll help?" It was hard for Han to think through the logistics of switching over to the bounty hunter's side with Din rubbing so sweetly against his prostate.
"Was you inviting yourself to the use of my ship a promise that this will happen again?"
Din didn't answer. Instead, he focused all his energy on bringing Han to a loud, messy orgasm all over the Starfighter's polished chrome.
~
After three weeks on the Dune Sea, a few days in space, and quick jump to Nevarro to deliver the bounty, Han and Din (that was his name, Din. Han said it as much as possible just to prove he could) were a little more than friends, a little less than partners.
"I want to go see my son," Din said, as they started to take off from Nevarro.
"Want me to drop you back at Mos Eisley for the Starfighter?" Han offered, powering up the Falcon.
"Why don't you come with me?" Din suggested. Han had been over the details of his years-long relationship and utterly one-sided breakup more than once during their trek through the sand.
"I don't think that's the best idea," Han said.
"You really don't want to see him again?" Din asked.
"Of course I do, I love him. He doesn't want to see me. That was the whole thing. The Jedi thing," Han said.
"I still see Grogu," Din said.
"Yeah, well, he's your kid."
"He's your Jedi."
Han started to fly the ship, hoping it would put an end to the conversation. "He's not my anything," he said, typing in the coordinates for Yavin 4.
~
Luke was waiting for them when the ship landed. Han had watched him run out of his little hut, a frown on his face, when he noticed the Falcon in the skyline.
"You go out on your own," Han said.
Din decided not to fight about it. Through the windshield, Han watched Luke's confusion grow as Din stepped out. Din gestured to the ship, and Han guessed he was giving Luke a rundown of what had happened the last month or so. Luke nodded and pointed inside his home. He watched Din head towards his son, before relaxing back in his captains chair, definitely not fighting tears.
"First my sister, now the father of my only student? Maybe I should be glad my mom is dead, otherwise you might fuck her too."
Han sat up. What ever pain was in his chest hardened into anger. They hadn't fought much during the break up. Mostly, they had cried and pleaded. He had cried and pleaded. And now Luke was on his ship picking fights?
"The father of your only student is hardly the same as your mother," Han said, standing up to face Luke. "And you didn't know she was your sister, how was I supposed to know?!"
Luke's arms were crossed over his black robes, his cheeks pink with rage.
"It crosses a line! Especially showing up here with him!"
"He asked me to drop him off!" Han stepped closer to him, waving his arms to punctuate his points.
"I told you --"
"To stay away! That's why I. Stayed. On. My. Ship!"
"It's not far enough!"
"Well, I'm not the one with the attachment issues!"
Luke's body was ridged. Han heard some controls on the ship beep and switch on without anyone touching them. Luke must have noticed them too, because he tried to release some of the tension in his body. When he talked next, his voice was lower.
"I'm doing my best, Han."
"So what? I can't see you, and I can't see other people?" Han asked.
"You can't see him. I can't stand even the idea of you being around here with a new man. Having to face that every month, every few weeks?! It'll kill me!" His voice was getting louder again, but nothing was switching on or floating.
"Listen mister," Han poked Luke's chest, "you broke up with me."
"I know!" He yelled. For the first time in the fight, their eyes really met. Luke grabbed Han's hands and squeezed them as he stared right through Han's soul. He watched Luke search his mind of the right words. I'm sorry, it was a mistake, I regret it, I want you back. Any of those would be the right ones. But none left Luke's mouth.
Han wanted to start shouting again, drop Luke's hands and kick him off the ship. But they had never ended a fight without kissing and making up before. Han didn't want to end that tradition now.
He leaned down and kissed Luke hard, wrapping his arms around his waist to keep Luke up right as they bent back. It took no time for Luke to react, kissing back and tangling his hands in Han's hair. Han started to walk them back in the direction of the bedroom.
"Tell me to stop," Han said.
"Please don't," Luke said.
~
They were half-dressed, tangled together on Han's bed, rubbing against each other like teenagers, when Din walked in.
"I left Grogu with the droid. I think he said it was lunch -- oh."
"Din," Han said without thinking as he sat up.
"Din?" Luke asked as he tried to get his robes back into place.
"Sorry," Han said to Din, who just shrugged. He wasn't sure if the apology was about the name or about humping his ex. Either way, Din didn't seem too upset.
"I'm glad to see you two aren't angry," Din said.
"Well, he was mad at me, but I'm an expert at deescalating situations," Han said. Luke rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry Mando ... Din? This probably isn't what you expect of a Jedi Master," Luke said. His face was pink with shame, even if his dick was still visibly stiff in his tight pants.
"Han and I have talked a lot in the last few weeks," Din said. Luke's face got even. pinker at the implied this is exactly what I expected. But Din wan't teasing or mocking. Just saying, as he usually was.
There was a long silence between all of them.
"You two should continue," Din said. "I'll get lunch together for the kid."
"Din --" Han said. He didn't know if this was a one-time thing with Luke or what, but he wasn't about to let Din get away from him either.
"Han," Din said. Han could hear the smile on his voice, "I'll be back in half an hour."
"We'll see if Luke would be up to you joining us," Han said. Luke made a stunned choking noise in the back of his throat.
"I'm right here," he said.
"Well, what do you think about the idea?" Han said.
Luke licked his lips in contemplation. "I think Din should go feed his kid and come back in half an hour," he said.
Din nodded and stepped out of the room. Han turned back to Luke.
"You know," he started undressing Luke again, this time starting with his pants, "if you can watch me fuck another man without getting too jealous or angry, maybe it means you can love me without attachments."
He slipped Luke's pants and briefs down to his thighs, fondling his half hard cock until it was stiff again.
"That could work," Luke said, looking down at Han, anticipation in his eyes.
"It better, because, baby, I don't think I can let you go again."
(this is very dumb and not very sexy lmao. Rated M)
Han's lips were on his, and Din's hand was tracing down his stomach until --
"Yes," Luke breathed. Something between them had shifted earlier in the evening, as if they'd all come to the same conclusion: they wanted each other desperately, tonight, and all at once.
He and Han were nothing new. They'd dated before, and they'd been friends with benefits on and off for years. And Luke new Din wasn't a stranger to either of them. Luke's saber training with Din had more than once lead to sweaty tumbles on the training ground, and Han had bragged about sucking him off once. But this felt different. This felt solid, sure, almost permanent.
Luke had felt all of this before. It'd been a repeating dream, every move of it appearing to him in his sleep a few nights a week for the last few weeks.
"I've dreamt about this," Luke said.
Han smiled. "Me too." Han kissed him.
"No, I mean ... like I've had this exact dream before."
Han leaned back and stared at him confused. Din's hand on his cock still, as Din turned to look at him as well.
"You're telling me," Han said, "that your wet dreams are prophetic?"
Luke hesitated for a moment, before nodding. He tried to pull Han back for a kiss to get the evening back on track, but Han stayed put.
"The Force is horny," Han said. Din grimaced.
Luke wasn't exactly sure if it was a question or not. Against his better judgement and in line with his impulses he added: "It has gotten at least one person pregnant."
Din moved back as if he were somehow in danger.
"What?" Han asked. "Who? When?"
"My grandmother, so I guess ... fifty, sixty years ago?" Luke said.
"So you don't have a grandfather?" Han asked.
"I do on my mother's side."
"But on your father's?"
"It's the Force."
Han laughed in disbelief, and got out of bed to pace in astonishment.
"I don't want to doubt your grandmother," Din said, "but is it possible she's lying?"
"It was corroborated by Jedi sources and the Force ghosts," Luke said.
"Oh well if the Force ghosts say it ...!" Han almost yelled.
"What? I feel like a virgin birth would be a pretty hard thing to convince people of unless there was good evidence for it," Luke said.
Din and Han looked at him like he'd grown a second head.
"It just seems unlikely," Din said.
"What, do you both just think the Jedi Order was stupid?" Luke said, his face a little red with embarrassment and frustration.
Han got back into bed, cupping his cheeks in his hands to kiss him softly before pulling away to respond: "Baby, you don't want me to answer that."
Luke pushed him away.
"Can we just ..." Luke started. He looked at Din for help, "get back to it?"
This time when Han leaned in, Luke let him stay. But Din hesitated to get close to him.
"What?" Luke asked.
"Do we need like ... Force condoms?" He asked. Han laughed. Luke was tempted to roll his eyes, but he could tell Din was serious.
"I think we're going to be okay," Luke said.
"You don't sound very sure," Din said, leaning in anyways.
"Trust me, I'm not that powerful," Luke said.
Din and Han looked past him to stare at each other. "No, you kind of are," Din said as Han said "You are shockingly powerful."
Luke smiled with pride. "Then I can control that power," he said. He leaned over to kiss Din.
"Ah," Han said behind him, pressing kisses into his shoulder, "so you are our Force condom."
Din broke the kiss to laugh, as Luke used the Force to roll Han away until he was tumbling off the bed.
Skymandolo - 22. “You’re an idiot...” / “An idiot you and I love very much.”
Din and Han were crouched behind a wall, dodging blaster fire.
"He always has to go and do something dumb to try and get me killed," Han yelled, reaching around the corner to blast at some Imps on the other side.
Din just rolled his eyes behind his helmet at Han's complaining. It had been nonstop since they got Luke's distress call. "All of this for some old Jedi crap ..." he complained, waisting no time getting to the Falcon. Din was more sympathetic to Luke's attempts at reclaiming stolen Jedi artifacts. Although, he had to agree with Han that his consistent insistence on doing these things alone did make him something of a --
"Fucking idiot!" Han yelled again.
"Do you see him?" Din asked.
"Other side of the room," Han confirmed. Din relaxed a bit. If Luke wasn't captured, then this would all likely be over soon. Din and Han had done a good enough job taking care of their side of the Imperial base; they just had to trust that Luke had done his job.
With the Imps in the room distracted by Luke, Din and Han were able to leave their defensive position, and help Luke take out the other Stormtroopers easily.
When the room was clear, Han waisted no time picking a fight with him.
"You're an idiot," Han said, his arms crossed so Luke couldn't steal any affection from him that might lower his resolve to be angry.
Luke just frowned and looked at Din. Din took the opportunity to be the favorite boyfriend. "An idiot you and I love very much," he said, pressing his forehead to Luke's. He ignored Han's disgruntled "yeah, well, I've been pulling him out of scrapes a lot longer than you have."
"Are you hurt?" Din asked. Luke shook his head.
"Thanks for the help," he said.
Han just grunted. "Alright, kid, where are these Jedi artifacts?"
They left with a bag full of old lightsabers and lightsaber parts. "They were probably stolen after Order 66," Luke said. "Some were stripped for the kyber crystals, others sold for decorations or weapons. But," he hoisted the bag into the X-Wing, "traditionally, Jedi lightsabers would be given to new Younglings and Padawans until they could make their own."
"Next time maybe just invite us along for the ride, instead of comming us from a thousand parsecs away," Han suggested.
Luke tilted his head up to try and match Han's height. "I don't always need your help."
"Please kid, you'd be a bit of carbon scoring on the side of the Death Star if it weren't for me."
Luke crossed his arms and frowned. "And you'd be a wall ornament in Jabba's palace."
"And I," Din said, "would like to be home for dinner."
"Right," Luke said, uncrossing his arms. "I'll see you both at home." Han nodded slowly, before taking the upper hand in their little fight, by kissing Luke swiftly and deeply. Han had a hand on either side of Luke's face, pulling him in. When the shock of the kiss wore off, Luke embraced it, pulling on the front of Han's shirt, until they were making out against the side of the X-Wing. It was an easy way to make sure Luke didn't spend the entire flight thinking about Han's frustration, and instead keep him thinking about something else.
By the time Han pulled away, they were both flush and breathless. "Don't get into any trouble on the flight home," Han said.
"I won't," Luke promised.
Din helped Han get the Falcon ready for flying as the X-Wing took off ahead of them. Din didn't like being Han's co-pilot, but after two years, he'd still only convinced Han to let him have the controls three times.
"That was some kiss." Din said once they were in hyperspace.
"Jealous?" Han asked leaning back in his seat. Din just shrugged. "Alright, hotshot," Han said, "but you let me know when you get bored. We got a lot of hours to kill, and I can think of a few good ways to pass that time."
Skymandolo - Stranded Due to Inclement Weather aaaand Love Confessor
[fanfiction trop mash up]
Dallas Fort Worth airport wasn't exactly where Din wanted to be spending his Wednesday. He, Han, and Luke were suppose to be in San Francisco by now, enjoying their first real vacation together. Instead, they were grounded, waiting for the storm to pass, watching their flight get more and more delayed.
Din left the two of them on the floor near the gate while he wandered off to find the airport book store. He'd already torn through the last two hundred pages of the book he'd packed. His backup was in his checked bag, where it was currently of no use to him.
He made his way back to the gate with an intriguing new pulp mystery novel and Diet Coke after a few minutes. His boys were more or less where he'd left them. Han had a margarita now, though, and Luke was asleep, resting his head on Han's lap. The remains of this McDonalds lunch were crumpled up in the bag next to them.
"Any luck?" Han asked.
"Lucky enough," he said, sitting down next to them.
"Wish they'd just cancel already," Han complained, "so we could get out of here at least."
Din nodded. "Is he out cold?"
"Yeah," Han ran his hand over Luke's hair, "can't blame him, though." They'd had an early morning, trying to book a flight that would give them a decent amount of time in the city their first day. At this rate, though, they weren't making that dinner reservation.
"You had the smart idea," Din said, taking his soda out of the bag and gesturing to Han's drink.
"They're right over there if you want one," Han said, pointing to some kitsch Tex-Mex airport bar. "I'd get one for you, but I'm busy at the moment."
"Perfect, I'll be right back," he leaned forward and kissed Han quickly. He didn't like public displays of affection usually, but everyone was too busy watching weather radars and flight updates to look their way anyway.
"Alright, love you," Han said casually. Din froze and looked at him. Han said that to Luke all the time - little 'I love you's like that - but never to Din. Din was new; he'd only dating Luke for eight months, but Han only for four.
But still he liked the sound of it.
If Han noticed what he'd said, or felt uneasy about it, he didn't seem to show it, instead he just went back to admiring Luke asleep in his lap.
"Love you too," Din said quickly, testing the waters just a bit.
"I love you too," Luke grumbled from his half asleep state, probably less aware of what he was saying than Han was. Din and Luke shared 'I love you's all the time, but they still made Din smile to hear them. Both men smiled at him still half asleep.
"Welcome back, sleeping beauty," Han said. "Want a drink?" Luke nodded with his eyes still closed.
An hour later, their flight was canceled. "We've got another flight tomorrow at nine," Din said. Luke pressed his head against Din's back, bummed at the development, as Han called shitty airport hotels. Din turned around and pulled Luke into a tight hug. "Sorry sweetheart," Din said.
"Not your fault," Luke said.
Getting drunk in a Holiday Inn with a flight in the morning maybe wasn't one of their better ideas in hindsight, but it did make for a fun night. When they finally did crawl into bed, all on top of each other and a little more than buzzed, Din said: "I love you," to both of them. They both kissed his cheeks, squishing his face from either side.
"We love you too," Han said, before settling into his place at Din's side.
It would be so funny if Han and Din had an inadvisable (but annoyingly good) fling at some point pre-rebellion so when the time comes for Luke to introduce Han to Grogu’s hot dad, they’re just like *spiderman pointing meme*
Look, I love touch starved Din. I love inexperienced Din. I love ace Din. But I also really love "Din is the Outer-Rim's bicycle," and I think we need more about it.
They meet in Mos Eisley when they're both 28-ish. Din's in between jobs (Greef commed and said to stay on Tatooine because another bounty puck might be coming his way). Han's also in between jobs, just dicking around, being a slut, trying to find something/someone to do ...
Han saunters up to the mando (probably a bad idea, Han, he's probably a bounty hunter), and offers him a drink. Din doesn't accept for helmet reasons, but Han doesn't leave. Din figures out pretty quick what Han's looking for, and why not? He's got nothing to do tonight, and any bed they can get is probably bigger than the one on the crest.
"I'll have to leave the helmet on."
"Fine by me."
They have one (or maybe two) nights together, and it's really very good. On lonely night for the next few years, they occasionally drift back into each other's thoughts. Han's got more to distract him (he met another person in a Mos Eisley Cantina...), but they never forget each other.
When Din lands on Yavin 4 for the first time that Han is there, Din walks out and it goes something like this"
Han: thought you were this other guy (he's talking about Boba)
Din: Hi Han
Han, recognizing the voice: Oh shit.
Luke, because of force stuff, realizes what is going on right away. He's very amused and very hopeful.
Din, for the record, is doing his best to seem calm about all this, but he's depending on his helmet a lot to hide his feelings.
And because they are all a little slutty, they are in bed together within 48 hours
