Fluffy French Bread Dinner Rolls-Easy Homemade Recipe
Enjoy these gluten-free savory dinner rolls made with Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour. They are packed with flavorful herbs and spices, perfect for your gluten-free dinner table.
Ingredients: 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour. 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast. 1 cup warm water 110F. 2 tbsp sugar. 2 tbsp olive oil. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp dried rosemary. 1/2 tsp dried thyme. 1/4 tsp dried oregano. 1/4 tsp dried basil. 1/4 tsp dried parsley. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1/4 tsp onion powder. 1/4 tsp paprika. 1/4 tsp xanthan gum. 1 egg for egg wash, optional. 1 tbsp water for egg wash, optional.
Instructions: Mix the sugar and warm water in a bowl, then sprinkle the yeast on top. Allow it to sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it foams up. Gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, salt, garlic powder, dried herbs, and spices should all be mixed together in a large bowl. Mixed yeast and olive oil should be added to the dry ingredients. Mix until you get a soft dough. For about two minutes, knead the dough until it's smooth. Break the dough into eight equal pieces and roll each one up. Fill a muffin tin or baking sheet with grease. Place the rolls inside. Cover with a clean kitchen towel. Allow the rolls to rise for 30 to 40 minutes in a warm, draft-free area. Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. You can make an egg wash by beating the egg and 1 tablespoon of water together. Then, brush the egg wash on top of the rolls for a shiny look. The rolls should be baked in a hot oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Take them out of the oven and let them cool down a bit before you serve them.
