I have been compared to both on multiple occasions by friends

Dino Thunder AU with roleswaps

Conner is a track star, Kira is a Pop/Y2K singer, Ethan is an artist, Trent is a tech dude/gamer, Tommy is broke

wip ask game: Camboy ODT AU

So basically this little AU focuses on Conner and Trent meeting each other at a job, a wellness/youth center that helps people with their mental health. Conner is there because the field is in line with what he's studying for at college while managing his soccer career, while Trent’s reasoning is more aligned with helping kids and young adults manage their well-being. Conner isn’t really into dating other people, he’s got too much on his plate to manage that, a friend did mention adult streamsites he checked it out while bored on a Friday night finding some cute guy and kept up with the streams he did, had a pretty good personality but too. But a few months into Conner’s job, Trent, the new hire, joined, and unfortunately for Conner…he put the pieces together and recognized him. And while trying to keep up the secret, Conner gets to know Trent and starts catching feelings.

Now with the canon divergence

-Trent moved to Reefside with Anton in the summer before freshman year but kept to himself a lot years after his parent’s deaths, he was a pretty distant kid.

-The trio and Tommy get their Dino gems in the same way and go about their season to some similar capacity. Only difference is Trent never became friends with them but was at Reefside since freshman year.

-The White Dino Gem was found by Kendall Morgan instead of Mesogog, meaning the Morpher wasn’t as corrupt as it was in the show, and she recruited Trent during senior year as the white ranger. Though despite this, he never met Conner, Ethan, Kira, or Tommy outside his suit from time to time.

-Trent was severely bullied, like so badly that he nearly lost the will to life, and to the point of Anton having to move him to Angel Grove High for junior and senior year, which while it did stop the bullying, Trent pretty much spent the entirety of those years alone by himself without friends. Except for Cassidy and Devin, who he actually talked to every now and then back at Reefside and stuck with him even after he was ostracized.

-After the season, and Anton being freed, the guilt over the years kinda piled up and decided to look out for Trent even more. Though despite this, Trent put up boundaries.

-Due to the events in high school, Trent kinda became more reserved and soft spoken when it came to interacting with other people, Cassidy and Devin are VERY protective over Trent and wouldn’t hesitate fighting someone to keep him safe.

-I’d like to think that Kendall may or may not have made zord based weapons and Cassidy and Devin were recruited as pseudo rangers to help Trent(like with glamours kind of like Elsa in the season), which made the three of them even closer friends.
