Does Usma have the light sensitivity and vision problems that come with albinism?

She does! You can see her squinting at the sunlight here.

I also have a scene planned where the gang comes up with a rhubarb leaf hat for her...

That said, she has sensitivity to light and probably doesn't have the best eyesight in general, but for the sake of the comic's strong use of expressions I'm limiting her squinty faces to truly bright moments. Most of the time I also draw the characters first before coming up with the background/time of day, so she's not always going to have the proper behavior to brightness. But it's still very much written into her.
