CHOICE - animation meme

Little raptor doodad GO!!

I’m still trying to practice animation, so this was my first colored test for frame-by-frame sort of movement, as well as trying to lip-sync! I wanted to try this out because I’ve never made an animation meme before despite watching them constantly 5 or so years ago. Took 4h 30m, 18 FPS, audio is Choice by Jack Stauber

Their shapes are so delightful to draw and I can feel the creepings of a potential paleontology hyperfixation clawing it's way up my spine.

This was a freehand practice animation- meaning I used no references and everything was done on the same layer! Please ignore any anatomical mishaps, I'm by no means an expert lmao.

it's been a bit so here's another unfinished rough for my upcoming oviraptor film. I think this is one of if not the most technically demanding shots in the film and i'm very happy with how the roughs are coming along. animating a short film is hard yall!
