WIP, Maiasaura mom has her first hatchling. Im working on adding zoomies after where this gif ends but right now the animation just looks floaty and weird. But for now we have this bit.

Its Finally done, 13hrs 17mins, Please enjoy this simple hornet animation. For my 2nd animation ever im very proud of this! If anyone has any good tutorials on animation pls share, i basically was winging it and still need to learn the fundamentals of animation

8hrs 42min more progress! We got the motion, we got the cloak, and we got a little more detail now we need color and shading

Progress has been made, this is the full 60ish frames of motion. I now need to animate the Hornet's cloak over this, add more details colors shading then it'll be done!! About 4hrs to get to this point animating at 12fps

Got bored so im teaching myself to animate. This the rough out of the first 24frames of my 2nd ever animation, im going for 60 frames at 12fps. Krita says i've been working on it for 40 min but that feels wrong.

So here for now is Hornet doing a stretch.

19hrs 49mins, Now that Hornet and Lace look decent and the background is more than blocked in I think I'll call this piece done.

When I went to work on the background i realized i hated how Hornet was posed and how her overall render looked. So I restarted her, and to make sure the structure beneath the cloak was going to be good, I did a pose rework and basic anatomy draw before i try to do any drapery work.

With the hornet rework we are sitting at 13hrs 42min. Defo Still a WIP

After a crazy start to this year, I finally have been able to draw again so we are continuing the last piece! Sitting at healthy 3hrs 24mins we have a rough out of Hornet and Lace. Here is hoping that stuff doesn't pop off again so I can keep art-ing for a bit.

WIP (43min) Okay in an effort to diversify my background practice we're doing a rolling field. So by no means is this the final background, just trying to catch the vibe i want for it. Wish me luck!

okay now that i don't hate where this piece is like with the other version (here) this one took 5hrs and 6mins. so i'll take that win.

Okay, sooo i haven't posted since last November, because i got a new puppy who needs a lot of attention and is adorable. But I managed to carve out some time to remake that last piece i posted cause it was still bothering me. So this WIP is adjusting the perspective and composition of the piece to how i originally wanted it to be (1hr 41min)

11hrs39mins, and I still want to just delete and restart the whole background. So I ask Wise internet people do i call this a learning experience and move on or Iterate more on the background?
