The Return to the Falls Dipcifica Comic Collection - all ten mini comics thus far!

The reaction on AO3 and the Dipcifica subreddit has been incredible for my little fanfiction series, and the comics have been some of my favourite bits to work on ever - even if my art style and the world of GF doesn’t quite mesh together properly.

The fanfiction series seems to be getting quite a bit of popularity for itself which I hugely appreciate. Lots of people say it feels like a very real set of episodes and even some non-shippers have been converted by my devilish ways.

ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN - A RETURN TO THE FALLS

It's been exactly one year since the events of Weirdmageddon, and the Pines twins are back in Gravity Falls, where things have largely remained unchanged. The town is still bonkers, weirdness still abounds, and the shack is still the shack.

However, with the Northwest Family in tatters, and Preston driven to overwhelming desperation, it's Pacifica Northwest where the wildcard lays - sparking off an awkward romance with Dipper Pines, and a tale of redemption for the heir to the fortune.

Under the somewhat watchful eye of their Grunkles and the new Mr. Mystery, the twins discover there's much that still lies in the town and its crooked, bizarre history.

With swashbuckling action, awkward romances and tender moments combined, Return to the Falls is an attempt to recapture the tone of 'Gravity Falls' - no major character deaths, no ridiculous over the top drama, no nine-hundred part series - just 15-20 chapter 'episodes' expanding on the lore and Gravity Falls concepts largely untouched.

Each 'episode' will be accompanied by a title card and interspersed with a short comic strip or two, to bring about the ultimate level of Hirsch-style weirdness.

At this rate I think I’m the only Dipcifica comic artist who’s still doing the fucking things regularly.
