okay, right now, I have recently read a lot of good books so you’re just going to have to deal with there being a lot and these are only the favoriets I can remember and the recents.
The Princess Bride by William Goldman. For some all-around awesome. SEriously this book has everything.
A Wind in the Door by Madeleine L'Engle. Characters and feels and narrative (I think these are my favorite things in a book? yeah. 'd say so.)
Shadow Children by Margaret Peterson Haddix (and I am just a fan of Haddix's suspense writing in general because wooooowowoww) The plot is the main thing here. I was so entertained. This was one of those books I never ever wanted to set down.
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein. a;lskdjg guuhhh feels charries narrative style that’s all I’ms aying.
Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. Again, narrative. And subject matter. But mostly with him it’s always the narrative. LIKE, REALLY DUDE, AGAIN WITH THE NARRATIVE?
A Friend at Midnight by Caroline B. Cooney. FEELS CHARRIES NARRATIVE SUBJECT MATTER HITS ME HARD BECAUSE PERSONAL DIVORCE KID STUFF AND CRAAPPPPpp
Fire by Kristin Cashore. mmmmmmmmmmmmm
