Thank you to everyone who turned up and voted to make this change and turn things around 🖤 Sundays are a day where my mum would make a special family dinner. This Hakka recipe from Lydia’s family is so comforting and I can relate to the memory of my saliva glands dancing; thinking about the smell of hot oil being poured over raw sliced garlic. My mum would make Hainanese chicken rice made form the stock of the chicken and serve it with a similar sauce made with garlic, ginger, spring onion and soy.
