Meet and Greet Survival Tips

So, you’re gonna meet Dir en Grey? Awesome! Are you uncertain about what’s gonna go down? Do you think you’re gonna cry? You might and that’s okay. These are my tips from personal experience~

1. Wear clothes that make you feel good. Just a little confidence boost.

2. If you feel really nervous, hold somebody’s hand. Hold something. Just keep your shit together! I thought I was gonna implode when they walked into the room.

3. Don’t be too shy! Baby, you paid 135 dollars for that ticket, enjoy yourself. Smile and try to say something if you can/want. Shake their hands like you mean it!

4. Kyo. Kyo, Kyo, Kyo. Don’t expect homie to acknowledge your existence with anything but his hand. He’s gonna look 100% not here for this, you seen the photos.

5. Pictures. You know you get a photo. It’s awkward posing with them. People are gonna ask you, “Is that the band or cardboard cutouts?" Both. I tried not to look catatonic so I threw up a gang sign. Everyone laughed, including Die. So, dress to impress yoself!

6. Questions. You may get to ask the band a question if Nora or whoever is with them picks you. I got picked and asked when they were going on vacation. Don’t be like me.

7. The goodies. This year it’s a CD and a poster. I suggest you bring something to put them in. I hate they give it to you right before the concert! Like, yeah, thanks for giving me the opportunity to lose my things.

Okay. Four months to go until November. I hope all the VIPs have a nice m&g. Hold on to that front spot, too!
