Bart going to blackwing

I firmly don’t believe that Bart went to blackwing for ken, ken was an “added bonus” I guess you could say. Bart felt like she screwed EVERYTHING up, she told Francis that and that’s why she wouldn’t stay with Panto/Francis in Wendimoor.

I think Bart went to blackwing because she felt like she deserved punishment. She felt like blackwing was the sole place she could be where she wouldn’t hurt anybody. When she was with Panto she didn’t have to because he slayed, but when she was alone her only option was to do as the universe guided and become the holistic assassin we saw so much of during season one. But as soon as the people she loved (ken) started getting hurt she stopped her path of destruction and led as peaceful of a life as she could. But as soon as Panto got hurt, despite her giving up killing people, she killed everyone, she killed an entire army by herself.

So Bart didn’t go to blackwing to be with ken, she went to punish herself and to protect others from her. She knew blackwing was the “most boring place ever” and the only place she could be where the universe had nobody for her to kill except ken.

So basically my queen Bart needs to heal because her life hasn’t gone well and I love her and right now she’s really vulnerable and needs Ken’s help but he won’t help her. She didn’t go to blackwing for ken, she went solely because she felt like it’s what she deserved.

About Silas and panto’s death

I’ve been seeing a lot of bury the gays stuff and kind of an accusing finger pointed every which way so I’m going to share my two cents if that’s alright so here we go.

Silas and Panto’s death was necessary to the story for the exact position they were in. Now I only say this because I want you to fully understand my point of view I guess. Here’s why: Suzie commands the army to go kill all the rest of the families, which the trosts and hampers had mostly taken care of UNTIL bart, Panto, and Silas showed up. When they showed up there’s only 5 people left living at the battleground (one of which can’t be killed) but before hand the parents were clearly supportive of their sons and ready to finally end the battle, but when the mage’s army showed up they did EXACTLY as they were commanded, they killed all the rest of the dengamoors and trosts. To be clear, I am very heartbroken they died but I do see why. Two additional reasons I guess: 1. It followed the Romeo and Juliet theme they had underlying in their relationship and 2. It set bart of into her killing rampage which would NOT have occurred otherwise, she told ken she was done killing and didn’t attempt to help Panto when he was killing blackwing people, she had decided her own path.

Okay, I don’t think this follows the whole bury the gays, kill them just because their gay because Max Landis has done a VERY good job of developing the characters past their sexuality and the main guys (Todd, dirk, Amanda, and farah) we know little about other than the fact that farah and Todd hooked up. The entire first season Todd’s crush was the sole mention of any sort of relationship because max knew it wasn’t vital to the plot or who they were as characters. Panto and Silas were gay and loved each other deeply but they weren’t the “token gays” so many shows use for their diversity points. They had their own specialties and struggles and they were developed so much further than so many lgbt+ characters, shouldn’t that be something to celebrate? They were realistic people with lives and the fact that they were gay matter to nobody and it was beautiful. Tina also follows this, she is bi but she says is offhandedly in one scene (that wasn’t even strictly about her it was about the main 3) she was developed before this though and we all loved her, and after she came out every continued to treat her EXACTLY the same. Max Landis represents his lgbt+ characters the same as everybody else and they should be treated the same.

So while I completely wish that Panto and Silas didn’t die I think it needed to happen and it wasn’t just another way to knock the lgbt+ community down a leg, Max did the same thing he did to so many other characters this season and honestly I think the fact that he gave us their happy reunion and supportive parents was a blessing when Silas could have died on the bridge with many others.

A theory

Dirk gets to choose who the boy is because the prophecy is so vague so I think Dirk gets to kinda pick who’s going to save Wendimoor.. at first he thinks Arnold Cardenas and a lot of people were thinking Project Molluch (?i can’t spell) BUT the only person Dirk brought was Todd so this Todd is the boy. I don’t think the boy aspect matters as much as the fact of Dirk going to Wendimoor does.. while the boy does save Wendimoor I don’t think for a second that the boy (who everyone is going to believe is Todd) does it alone.

The first place Finn went when he had checked in with McGonagall was the Hufflepuff basement. He ran down there, to the kitchens, desperate to talk to Dirk, or just to be with Dirk, or something. He didn’t know what he needed, but he couldn’t be alone, he felt completely lost, and he had missed his best friend. He stood by the barrels, panting, trying to cast his mind back to the once before he had been into the badger set, but he wasn’t positive he could remember the passcode and besides maybe it could have changed since then, and he remembered Dirk once saying that the price for getting it wrong was not simply denial of access as in Gryffindor but a vinegar bath, and Finn still couldn’t stand the smell of vinegar ever since his hungover Charms lesson the day after Saint Patrick’s Day.

After a while of standing there awkwardly, Finn heard his name being called and he turned to see Liv walking towards him, a look of confusion on her face. “Where have you been? Someone said you’d dropped out of school. Do you need letting in?”

The shake of his head that Finn had been giving her at the suggestion that he had left school turned into a nod. She tapped the barrels in a semi-familiar rhythm, and the both of them entered the revealed common room. Finn ignored the continuation of her questions over where he had been, and barely noticed that she followed him up the boys’ staircase, into the 6th year dorm. He made a bee line for the bed where his best friend already sat, flopping down next to Dirk with not even a hello.
