okay so. like, i could easily see this being a continuation of the previous princes au, as a catalyst for their relationship being cemented.Ā we left off with dirk being a mopey douche and hal being sort of uncertain about his feelings being reciprocated
so imagine dirk decides to take a vacation to clear his head, get some fresh air, all that. there happens to be a huge lake up in the mountains. which isĀ where her imperious condescension lives. (she named herself that.)

so up comes dirk and retinue to the nice palace in the side of the mountain and condy is like [eyeball emoji] cuz damn that boy is dripping in gold and pretension. dragon instincts activated. gotta collect it.
so ya she gonna snatch that boy up. you know how easy it is to kidnap someone when youāre bigger than anything theyāve ever fcking seen and can spit boiling water?
she takes him back to her lair and boy heās a handful but i mean all she has to do is drop her entire paw on top of him and he canāt really do shit so eventually he settles down. heās waiting for rescue, his brother has already got to be on the way.
she seems pretty content to make him play dress up with her gold and pose him around on her stuff like some kind of doll, and never ever not even on his deathbed will he admit that itās kind of hot.
hal, back home, is losing his fucking mind when he finds out whatās happened to dirk. of courseĀ dirk gets kidnapped by a fucking dragon the second he leaves halās side.
