He ducked, anticipating the blow as the one on the carriage jumped from above him. He needn’t have bothered as the white-haired woman seemed to spring out of nowhere and catch him in the throat before he could do any real damage. Blood spilled from his throat as he died and Solas could not say that the was ungrateful. For a moment, they seemed to be in tandem. At least, until she noticed his barrier on her toes. Her eyes widened as she turned to him.
“Its a barrier,” he answered, “It’ll keep some of the damage off of you.”.
He threw a ball of ice at the man approaching, keeping him at bay for a moment while his attention was on her.
“That ice behind us will keep the last three from falling back to sneak up on us again,” he continued, “As to how we kill them, I don’t care. As long as they’re dead. I have no reason to turn my magic on you,” he added, noting the slight worry in her eyes, “I prefer negotiation to violence, though we currently have no choice in the matter.”.
He turned, raising his hands; forcing the last three in the air momentarily and then slamming them to the ground, hard.
“Farming seems to have changed a lot since I last remembered,” he remarked.
A nod came in her gratitude, a smile even would have threatened to appear upon filled lips, would their lives not be in danger. A white light covered them all as the ice had the bandit marching in a stupor, the huntress took not of not taking too much time with talk.
