Create your very own Dirt Kid! ⁣⁣

🌱 What To Draw: Sketch/Paint/Sculpt a lil dirt kid similar to this image in whatever pose with WHATEVER sprout/flora you want growing from their head! It could be a backyard plant that you’re fond of, a favorite flower, or an herb used for spells! And let me know in your description why you chose your plant! I love hearing these kind of stories, especially when outside in this midsummer heat! ⁣I would try to include a dark gradient on the body with white eyes but I’ll leave the rest up to you!⁣

Our backyard was a field of them back in May and I love them so much. I see Dandelions as being quite happy and free despite being labeled a “weed”. I think they are beautifully cheerful flowers that bring about bumbles and butterflies. How we view them is all perception! 🌼⁣⁣Looking forward to seeing your dirt kid creations! 💛⁣

The 3 Brother Beans 🌱🌱🌱⁣⁣⁣

I planted 3 bean seeds late last week (swipe) and yesterday one of them started sprouting, one was above the the dirt, and the last one was barely visible. ⁣⁣⁣⁣I immediately pictured these three brother beans, all growing at their own pace and trying to comfort the third one who felt left behind. And bear with me but I was getting emotional thinking about them as I was drawing because the story started to shift context as I started to see each of them as a person during different stages of life. I wish I could have been there to comfort my younger self and ensure him that it will be alright and that you will blossom eventually. And then I started to think about how all it really takes is just one person to notice your potential to make you feel alright again. The bean that is growing the best is disconnected from the sad one but can see great things inside of them! ⁣⁣⁣⁣ANYWAYS, I clearly was in a swirl of ideas thinking about how showing this simple depiction of three beings at different stages can be interpreted by different people. And the way they see it means something different depending on their lens of life! ⁣⁣⁣⁣Essentially, in the end I saw that this shows we need to be helpful and kind to each other during these strange times even if it's just to one person to start with, and even if that's just yourself! 🌱⁣ ⁣⁣

Plantable Dirt Kids! 🌱⁣

Paper filled with wildflower seeds 🌼🌸🌺⁣

⁣ These cards will be FREE to the first 100 orders starting on this Monday!!
