Hate Poetry to an Object: April 19, 2011

Hello, porous form. I am quite sad to inform You that you have a stench That thy stomach can not quench.

When I turn the water on I don’t notice much is wrong Until I turn and face you. There is much reason to rue!

Your presence is a nuisance As you hang from your make-shift noose. When I go to shave my armpits You jump from your perch and then run loose.

Once drenched in soapy water, Your smell becomes enhanced. I quickly try and squeeze you dry But nothing has advanced.

The bottom line; You are a filthy sponge and need to get out of my shower.
