She-Ra AU Series : Dirty Streets

Or a Modern Street Gang au with a twist. Also tagging @girlboss-glimmer cuz they were excited and @freezingmyblitzballs because it seemed to have taken their interest. More under the cut.

The Plot

The Horde Kids, Adora,Catra,Lonnie, Rogelio and Kyle are all orphans from the Ward Orphanage run by Sharon Wilson also nicknamed Shadow Weaver. So as you can expect being raised by this woman and in this orphanage wasn't the greatest. At all.

After years of abuse, something happens that takes the kids lives upside down. Due to fear, an overwhelming sense of panic and and feeling unsafe. The five decide to run away.

This thrusts them into a world of provrety and danger. This eventually leads to them resulting into doing bad things to survive such as stealing and doing tasks given to them by random thugs or other gangs to earn some money.

They start working with M and K and shit goes down. Thus this creates their new moto "don't get attached" and takes a toll on Adora and Catra's relationship.

This event makes Adora revaluate their life and makes her realize that they could not live like this forever. So after taking the home they got from M and K she decides to enroll herself in school in hopes of it helping them have a better life. However she somehow manages to enroll herself in BrightMoon Academy a quite prestigious school.

Now being in a school with a very good reputation filled with rather rich kids when you are an a very poor pretty much homeless abused and traumatized orphan from the streets who also has deals with gangs who is trying to keep her backround a secret a bit hard. Especially when your the new kid around and that you also look like a bad boy but quickly become the top of your class...is something alright.

Not only that she has caught the attention of the two most popular students of the school of wich one of them is the daughter of the principal of the school Miss Angella who also seems to have taken in interest in her and her best friend..yeah this could get very big. Meanwhile her relationship with her own best friend seems to be falling apart.

She'll be fine as long as she doesn't get attached but it looks like that will be easier said then done.

AN : So this will be a series with two or more parts. First part will be about Adora and her story and the second one will be about Catra and her story. They will be the same kinda parrallel story telling the same events but from a different perspective and the aftermath as they go on different paths.

They might be a prequel part who goes over major events of their past in major detail but will see.
