i don’t really ship starlight with anyone but it would probably be trixie if i had to pick. it’s a good ship just not one i’m particularly invested in.

Vinyl/Octavia + Lyra/Bonbon: B

they are good ships but i’m not super into bg ponies tbh. 

Sunset/Twilight (SciTwi): A+

they are literally girlfriends like i don’t like legend of everfree too much but i have two mostly functional eyes and with those eyes i see their love for each other, no forced het romance can hide it from me

30. what is a piece of advice for people who may not be in a safe place to express their sexuality

i would say if you’re able, try to find a group online that you’re comfortable with. seek out spaces that you know you’re safe so you can express yourself in some fashion. i was out to my online friends for years before i felt comfortable going forward with transitioning offline and was in a safe place to do so, and having that space to explore myself was really important to me, especially since i was able to ask them questions.

(Note: I personally use the split attraction model. I experience romantic and sexual attraction as two separate feelings, so if you don’t experience them as separate things, this may not make any sense.)

A gay-asexual person is asexual. 

Monosexuality means you have to feel sexual attraction of some kind and only to one gender.

A gay-ace is not monosexual, because they don’t have sexual attraction. The gay part of the label implies they have queer romantic feelings; I don’t know if you’re using gay as an umbrella term or not, so I’ll just list some examples:

A gay-ace guy, using the most traditional definition of the word “gay”, would only feel romantic attraction to other guys.

A lesbian-ace woman would only feel romantic attraction to other ladies.

If you wanted a term for single-gender romantic attraction, you could use monoromantic to match up with monosexual!

toby's said that twitter and tumblr etc. stuff - anything besides what's in the game itself basically - isn't supposed to be treated as canon, too, so i'd say soriel being "semi-canon" is def up to personal preference. i'm with you on appreciating them as good friends who care about each other!

It’s up to you if you take that stuff into account; personally, I kinda do just because it was Toby writing about his own characters and there’s interesting things to be had there--I mean, there’s a long-deleted tweet that said something like ‘neither of them could fix the machine’ which is, uh, pretty intriguing when you pair it with ‘what do you two think?’, so...

But ultimately, it’s stuff you can take or leave! It doesn’t change much about the game, it’s just kinda fun little extras that offer insight into how Toby sees the characters. ^^

one of the only dragon age ships that really matters tbh........ esp w/ mage hawke fenris goes through so much growth and healing and i love it. my bpd ass loves this elf and his bpd i need more of it. @ bioware bring back my boyfriend in da4 in good shape thanks. also fix garrett’s default model he looked heinous. and then let my hawke and fenris make out. da4 is automatically bad if i cannot have any of this. also i should specify that this is frendshipmance fenhawke, rivalmance fenris route makes me v uncomfortable and stop being mean to my poor elf bf??? it’s not even cutesy competitive kind of rivalry it’s just being a gd dick to him like stop.

Like. I get why people might enjoy DA:A Anders and all. but I don’t. understand how you can like da2 Anders. And like. The whole time in his route he’s just. super pushy and creepy? And he fucking LIES to you about blowing up the goddamn chantry and makes you participatory in it unknowingly even if you don’t want to do that and even if you’re in a relationship with him? it’s not good? and esp if you have Marian instead of Garrett he’s just super misogynistic too? fuck anders lmao stay away from hawke and frankly everybody. this goes for both romance routes btw, i wouldn’t even rivalmance him.

i don’t really feel the need to come out to people. straight people don’t need to come out so why should i? i just tell people i’m gay if it comes up, like if they mention my hypothetical husband/boyfriend and i have to correct them, or if they ask me directly, or if the conversation is about romance and i talk about girls

if peeps feel like they need to formally come out though that’s fine, this is just how i feel about it
