COAL CONTROVERSY! 4 days ago @overthefirecooking posted my video of my steak being placed directly on hot coals on my firepit. It quickly has almost 300,000 views and over 100 comments. I am very surprised by the skepticism of many followers who questioned this method. I am posting this video I took of the steak I cooked using the 'caveman style' of placing the steak directly on hot coals. The biggest misconception is that coals and ash will stick and cover the steak, making it in-edible. That cannot be further from the truth!. Yes a few small pieces will get stuck to the meat, BUT they easily scrape off. This method leaves the steak very tasty and juicy.
