A digital nonprofit Homestuck zine dedicated to creating more positive representation for disabled characters, both canon and headcanon. Because of the drought of disabled art in the Homestuck fandom, I want to use this zine to spotlight disabled talent and disabled experiences!
Everyone is allowed to apply, just because a lot of conflicts arise when limiting a zine to disabled people only, but please consider what you want to see represented! What struggles you have in your life, what struggles you see other people in your life experience, what challenges you have overcome and what strengths you have as a result… Please consider these things when putting thought into what character you want to represent for this zine.
I urge you to consider a wide breadth of disability. Blindness, low vision, mutism, deafness, hard of hearing, chronic illness, physical disability, mental disability, intellectual disability, acute disability, multiply-disability, and many others! I want this zine to be diverse of different experiences.
This zine will be in PDF form, so help with transcribing art into alt text and image descriptions, as well as making an audio recording of the zine, will be greatly appreciated! Offers to help can be submitted through the application zine as well.
