ughghghghhgghgh shoes shoes will be the death of me those fucking sandals arrrgh still need so much tweaking and I swear every time I draw him he looks different but this is getting closer to how I see him ANYWAY yes here is a sketch that I inked

yeah I draw him as a dapper twink lol lol I know we're all sick of that but I tried to keep it somewhat reasonable for a desert climate.

HEADCANON TIME Cecil only started dressing dapper when he started needing to use the cane, it makes him feel a little better because let's face it, Cecil can be pretty vain sometimes. 

He uses the cane because as he stated in Station Management (and everyone seems to ignore this or else make a joke out of it?? what??) he's battling Lyme disease.

Which, if you don't know anything about Lyme disease, is pretty fucking awful and can completely wreck your body if it's not detected early enough. Look it up. 

I will color this and add a cloud of horrible roaches/some background when I am not so tired and when it is not so oppressively hot.

  Summary: Written for the Welcome to Night Vale kink meme, prompt - "I want fic of someone (station management, evil scientists, secret police, you name it) forcibly removing Cecil's third eye. Maybe it's punishment, maybe they need it for something, I don't care. Just give me Cecil curled up and in pain and suddenly minus an eye and Carlos cuddling him and plotting revenge."

When Cecil doesn't turn up for his nightly broadcast, all of Night Vale knows something is wrong. Carlos is more surprised than anyone to know that he apparently called Cecil away for a date, and the radio host hasn't been seen since. Carlos manages to put the pieces together in time to go and rescue Cecil from the scientists who really stole him away, but he doesn't quite make it in time to bring Cecil home unscathed.

Carlos has to struggle with the guilt of wondering if he's even partially responsible for this, while trying to keep himself together enough to help Cecil recover.

My thoughts: It's so sad but beautiful at the same time and I just want to gather Cecil up in a blanket and give him a cup of tea. Carlos is protective over Cecil which is something I don't see much in Night Vale fic which is unfortunate because it gives me such fluffy feelings. They way the author handled Cecil coping with his new disability was perfect.
