Early pictures of my completed battle vest!!!

I was extremely proud of this! I spent years collecting the patches and pins, i was gifted some vintage Leather merch from my Dad, and i really turned this into something I really love wearing!

I love the uneven dye job, my salvaged back patches from my first battle vest, and the soda tabs-I get lots and lots of comments on those and the Spongebob and "Stop Looking At My Button" pins The back patch was hand painted by me (acrylic on salvaged clothing), as well as all of the patches on the front of the vest, and everything is hand stitched because I don't own a sewing machine.

Yes! The spikes on the shoulders are ordinary screws! Yes! I do poke myself on them, but it's rare, and usually happens because I am speaking and gesturing very animatedly (I'm a rather outgoing person) The screws make it a little tougher to give hugs, but alas I suffer the consequences of sexiness *overdramatic swoon*

This vest has changed a little as i've worn it, and does need some little repairs here and there, but it's one of my biggest personal and artistic accomplishments! I started a small (very very very small) business commissioning these as well as selling individual patches and accessories-I'm slowly but surely setting up my side blog over at @youvegotmoxie!

🌊Meet our Winter guest artist Ocean! Ocean is an artist from Tkaronto (Toronto, Ontario), and uses their work as a way of exploring and advocating for disability rights, queer joys and class injustices. Ocean’s stickers will be available until the end of March.

❤️Meet Luna, our February featured artist! In honour of heart month, we’ve collabrated with Luna, an artist diagnosed with HLHS, a rare congenital heart condition to bring you two new stickers, featuring a piping plover and a jackalope! Proceeds from all of Luna’s stickers sold this month will be donated to The American Heart Association. Luna’s stickers will be available until the end of February.
