Author Spotlight Week #1 - Ally/Disaster-babe

Because we've only started this and haven't had enough entries yet for the Author Spotlight (see this post) and we've had questions about the three of us. So we are snagging week 1.

Disaster-babe.tumblr.com I joined tumblr about a year ago :) I've got 3,800 posts. 119 followers Following 318 261 likes Fics: Flash and 101 Days and Nights Fics most proud of: Um... I'm not sure. Flash was my first fic, but 101 was more popular lol. I stopped writing Flash because no one was reading it and I hit a plot block. Other fandoms: Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural and the Marvel Universe.  I love all his characters, but my favorite movies are The Deep Blue Sea, Thor and the Avengers. (I know I'll love Only Lovers Left Alive when it comes out, though)

I want the person that wrote Flash is its a wonderful story. I wish that you would continue it. Ohhh it left me hanging.LOL!! I love it. There is not many stories with black girls in it that is well written. I think you were doing a great job. Never let anyone stay in your way of greatness for anything. Even if its is just writing a story. That could turn into something that you never even dreamed of. Keep Moving

I agree, it was wonderfully written! I was sad to see disaster-babe end the story! I wondered what Jace had up her sleeve and how Allyson and Tom's relationship would develop! Sadly, that's what sometimes happens when there is little to no feedback given on a story! We've had several discussions about the usage of the like button and sending feedback via messages but it still remains a problem! Those are kind words that could apply to all of our writers!

I haven't spoken to a couple of my best friends in a while because life is a little chaotic at times, with school/work and with me traveling this summer. New relationships tend to steal people away from their other relationships for a while. And as much as I tried to fight that, the same thing happened to me. I couldn't really fight it off...and I'll admit, I didn't try very hard to either.

To any of my friends I put on the back-burner, I'm sorry and I know I suck. Please forgive me... Do it already. :)

Now I definitely understand both sides of the situation and I can only hope that I don't do it again in the future. It's fucked up, I know. Especially to you Ally. I'm sorry.

I was insensitive and I let myself get caught up. This has only proved what we all know to be true. You have been there before, during and will be there when it ends and I need you. I appreciate it more than I can say right now.

Same goes for you, Angela. I'm really glad we were able to talk tonight and even though we tend to depress the hell out of each other, for some reason that works for us. I don't understand it either and I don't think it's 'normal' but when have we ever been normal?

Talking to both of you was a much needed distraction and a comfort to me. I love you guys.
