(Telpingwe for Arvo for my sideblog @genderqueerelf) "Uncle Arvo?" Telpingwe called to their uncle, approaching him with an unusual shyness. Their cheeks were pink and they fiddled with their sleeves, incredibly nervous. "I need some advice, is now a good time?"

"What is it, child?" Arvo asked, his voice soft with concern. "Is there something troubling you? Come and sit down."

For the child of his wife's brother to have come to him, of all people, surely meant it was something important.

“There is really no need to be afraid, my lady.” Amroth did not sound very convincing, with a nervous crack in his voice. He would have very much liked to get up and flee himself, but he found himself having to play the gentlemen. 

“It is only a hound.” Said hound snapped at his ankles and he tried not to shriek. “I will call for a guard.”

🌼 Flowers - If you had to associate your muse with a flower, what would it be?

Irises. They are delicate and sweet, like him, but also a symbol of faith, hope and wisdom. They are often purple, a royal colour, but I think he makes me think of pale blue ones

How I feel about this character

I love Caranthir so much, you have no idea. I could live a long and happy life with him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

I ship @driftinglightofthewoods' OC Nethel with him.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Honestly he doesn't really have friends, so. I wouldn't even know who to put here. Maybe a dwarf.

My unpopular opinion about this character

He's not that bitter about not having a BFF brother, like the rest of them have. He actually prefers the peace and quiet with no one bothering him.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I wish the interactions between him and Haleth were described in more detail.
