Unused Concept Simone coming online after Echos rampage
Authors note: Doing some cleaning finding old stuff just posting cause can no longer do anything with them as this resulted from Diisdoodles AUs which they were apart of at one point in time. Figured it's still interesting to see the dynamic between Simone and Cyrus during an emotionally taxing moment,
Context: This was after Simone was supposed to be torn apart by Echo alongside Pixal in a fit of murderous rampage. Simone had been working for Echo in anger towards her family which lead to them getting hurt,

Gray optics slowly opened, she gave a groan wincing as a bright light hit her she heard rustling as someone shifted,
“Oh sorry sweetheart one moment…”
The light was turned away from her face, everything came into focus, her fathers face hovered over hers, it was an eerie sense of deja vu. It was like the 1st time he had brought her online
“Dad?” finally she managed to croak, he turned back,a small sad yet relieved look crossed his face
“Hey”
“Baba” she repeated, louder as she finally attempted to get up, carefully he held her down preventing her from going further
“No you stay down, that was very close this time…I didn’t know if I was going to be able to bring you back”
It finally hit her, her memory servos seemingly coming online finally and it clicked and washed over her, the sheer pain as she was attacked, hearing pieces clatter to the floor torn apart by the person on a murderous rampage, she remembered yelling for him to stop but he didn't,
He kept going till she was nothing but a body on the ground fortunate to offline before that final moment. Cyrus went for her hand to comfort his daughter as he saw the turmoil flickering through her optics, then he saw her look over and spot her baby sister's new form, it didn't take a genius to figure out what had happened. He slowly brought his arms around her as tears finally started to gathered in her optics so he curled around his Daughter protectively and finally he heard her break
Loud sobs filled the space, her whole body shuddering, he just held her slowly rubbing her back encouraging her without speaking a word as to not run the risk of interfering with the healing process.
"I'm sorry Baba" he heard her say
He broke his silence with,
"I know sweetheart, I know you are. Baba is right here, he's made the mistake once but he's never making that mistake again. That beacon goes off I will be right there,"
That made her cry harder, he felt her grip on him tighten
"I saw Pixal,"
"I know I'm rebuilding her as well,"
"I'm so so sorry baba you trusted all of us to protect her and I was just so angry, that I broke that promise"
Cyrus carefully rubbed her back
"No you didn't Simone,"
