I was just thinking about disc eclipse boop duo slash disc eclipse purpled and how his mindset towards tommy is "when we're together you're miserable and when we're not together we're both miserable but id rather be miserable too rather than you only so we have to stay away from each others that way we both suffer not just you" if that's clear

tommy just genuinely wanted purpled to be with him because he’d never felt so lonely. during exile ofcourse he was ALONE but he didn’t have to constantly deal with being around other people ( dream not counting ) and not quite fitting in anymore , not quite having that someone there anymore . Purpled WASSS that someone for a good while and suddenly having that spare space ripped from him , having to look at the discs in his chest that they’d listen to together , having to wash off purpleds name from their rooms sign ? It hurt. Even though he had people around , he felt LONELY
