Final #throwback of our #DiscoveringAnimals trip is meeeting and touching #BeardedDragon , #Turtle & #Tortoise . I was expecting Aydeen to want to pet the bearded dragon as it doesn’t move much, but he only wanted to touch. I guess he doesn’t like scaly animals 😅 There were also Tegu and Iguana in this shop, so it’s kind of interesting. As we moved on to learn about other things, there was a knowledge that I have got wrong this time. I thought the difference between turtle and tortoise is the shape of its legs. Turns out the legs can be almost similar, but the only difference is the habitat. Turtles are the ones that need water a lot, while tortoises are the ones that lives in mostly dry area. Apparently, not all turtle legs looks like sea turtles 😁 The staff also shared with us about the danger of releasing turtles to lakes and ponds. He told us that the imported species, especially, may be harmful for the other animals in the lake and ponds. Because turtles can be very invasive. They may eat the other fishes 😳 Same goes to Ikan Haruan, jangan suka2 lepaskan kat tasik katanya. Fuhhh siap ada pesanan penaja. He he. Aydeen tergelak tengok turtles bersidai. Kelakar agaknya tengok turtles duduk atas turtles lain 😅 Tapi yang paling dia suka tortoise in the final picture. Dia buat macam kereta mainan dah. Sis risau jadi sis suruh dia stop main.
