EY YO THR WEIRDEST THING JUST
so i was microwaving some food when i heard it. a strange, low, weak, constant tone. at first i thought i was imagining it. it was so faint. but on a whim i looked for the source and found, it was real. it may have been faint, but still too loud to be imagined. whenever id go towards the "source" of the sound, it would disappear; and reappear when i went away. same thing happened if i placed something next to one of my ears. though only one ear would be only partially blocked, the sound would be completely gone from both. i found the sound "came from" various specific locations in the house - mostly corners. my grandma could hear it clearly as well. neither of us are known to experience hallucinations of this kind or under the conditions that were present. i swear i'm not mad.
we managed to conclude that the sound was somehow being produced by the microwave. when the microwave turned off, the sound disappeared. when i turned it back on with a different food item, the sound was back; but it was higher pitched this time, fainter, and appeared in slightly different locations.
i think maybe it's some kind of interfere + resonance maybe, of the traces of microwave getting through the microwave door? or something? idk but i've never noticed this before.
the foods i tried were in this order:
tofu that was marinated in soy sauce, honey, some kinda pink salt (Himalayan or something i think?), cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, and nori seaweed.
rice mixed with a bit of honey, that same salt, and coconut oil.
