This is SIU’s way of saying that the children Eduan gives birth to is not via intercourse, but perhaps similar to the way Jahad passes on his power to the Princesses.
Khun and the other children do not know this, as it is an agreement between all the mothers and Eduan. Plus, the mothers probably would be too embarrassed to admit that they were never actually ‘with’ Eduan, as this was one of the reasons why they wanted to be his wife. Being able to bed one of the heads of the Great 10 Families? Oh, what an honor!!
The price of their greed is merely their son and daughter--what a small price to pay, indeed.
The grapes also could allude to the method Eduan uses to pass his ‘seed’, like via a grapeseed. Furthermore, Dinoysus is considered a God of Harvest, which could work as a metaphor to his ‘crops’ of children. Also, now that I think about it, maybe the number of children Eduan gives ‘birth’ to is meant to equal how many years he wishes to live (Khun and his 3000 sisters, anyone?).
That was the deal he made with the administrator of 100F.
Similar to how Hendo Lok Bloodmadder’s deal was to take the quantity of his future children’s life for his own.
Eduan’s children are his ‘harvest’ for immortality.
